Good afternoon I do not know what happened to this place if there was a change of staff but the attention we received aller was very bad the waitress spent all her time outside , her service I think should be improved by the water she really forgot it is a pity that she is declining that way.

Delicious chicken, lamb shank, and pork a la España. The flamenco guitarist , Raul, was entertaining and very talented. We really enjoyed the evening. Highly recommend it.

Saturday early night. We went to the restaurant, because location and nice in pictures ,besides we were looking for Spanish food. The service was slow, but the gratuity included, without upfront information (I checked the menu,no specified either)
3 Pitchers of white sangria more than 100.00 dollars, and not enough, the bill included a cover charge. The spanish music was fine, but they must let the people know that you have to pay for live music
Too many charges!!Paid almost 300.00 for one main course, with one desert, and a cold table.

I went here with a friend that I hadn’t seen in months. Saw this place online and it looked great so we picked it over another restaurant. We went on a week day, it was empty and there was nothing going on. Which we did not mind because we had the whole restaurant to ourselves….but that means I can’t judge on the entertainment mentioned in other comments. As far as decor goes, the inside of the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The garbanzo frito was amazing, and so were the croquetas. My main course was around ~$55 I believe and it was a surf and turf. I was dissapointed that the lobster had been split down the middle, and I only got half of the tail. It did come with two pieces of steak but the flavor of it was not the best. Tasted like it had been cooked in the oil from the lobster or just maybe not the best oil. Food was ok overall, with some good and bad for everything we ordered. At the end, the check already included gratuity and they also charged us an extra fee of like $5.50 for not paying cash. We left extra tip as well, but I’m not a fan of included gratuity, as I enjoy actually tipping based on service. Overall, it was not worth the hype. Would not go back.

Went with my parents for their anniversary! It was amazing. The food was excellent and the show was awesome! 10/10. We had croquetas, seafood paella, cream of asparagus, pulpo gallega, sangria and crema catalán.

Words cannot explain how bad my foord was, the chicken i ordered was raw, the desert I ordered (crema catalana) was tasteless and had a gross texture and taste, and they took forever to get me my food. The money isn't worth it, trust me just go somewhere else

Food was just ok, big portions for tapas, ridiculous extra charges for everything. Service charge, extra charge for using credit card. Who uses cash these days? Service was pretty poor. Definitely don't recommend. I would go to Happy Wine instead.

On thanksgiving.Day, I went to this restaurant for the first time and had a very bad experience. The service was terrible, the food was okay, but they deceive you with the pricing scammer . They list a paella for two as $35, but then charge you $70. It’s not fair to the customer. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

To say that the food is the worst, I would be lying but when we compare prices against quality that is where things are not consistent, the absence of customers in the establishment on a Sunday lunch reserved something to question, I think I would not be wrong in saying that there are restaurants in the center of Coral Gables that they do not charge for this restaurant and as if the trend of forcing you to pay an 18% tip were not enough, they make the customer responsible for paying the % that they charge the restaurant for providing credit card service credit. If this continues to be accepted, one day they will make us pay a fee for the use of the tables and cutlery.
El Gallego Restaurant was a pleasure but we won't see each other again.
