We wanted to try a new Spanish restaurant in the area. While the service was pleasant, we found the food to be overpriced, especially considering the portions.
What really disappointed us was being informed, about an hour and a half before the Sunday flamenco show, that we would be charged an additional fee if we remained at our table for the performance. We had arrived early to enjoy a relaxing afternoon, and being told we would incur an extra charge simply for staying completely changed the experience for us.
We ordered a platter with ham, cheese, and five croquettes, along with a bottle of wine, and our bill came to nearly $100. The portions were quite small—even the bread was served cut in half—which felt unnecessarily stingy.
As a result, we left and went to another restaurant for dinner. There, we enjoyed appetizers, entrees, dessert, and drinks for only a few dollars more than we had spent here.
Unfortunately, the value simply wasn’t there for us. Between the high prices, small portions, and the additional charge to remain for the show, we won’t be returning.
