HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!! I went there with my mother, 93 yrs. Old., my brother and my husband. When we arrived there were 2 clean and available tables and waited to be seated. Instead, the waiter start cleaning tables, sweeping the floor under the tables and did not allow us to sit at the clean tables. food and service excellent
We went on Saturday night and feel was pretty empty for a weekend. We got fried pargo and was good but we order filet fish with seafood and shrimp and was tasteless and sauce was thick like out of a can. Service was slow. Our service start assembly boxes and left us to another waitress. They were distracted with everything other than been attentive to us. Sorry not worth the price.

El Gochon Pastelitos Patacones Mandocas offers excellent fresh food and great attention from staff, including Carlos and Natalia, who provide cordial service. Many customers express a strong preference for their mandocas, with some stating they would drive from Little Havana to Doral just to enjoy them. The restaurant is often compared to a little corner of Maracaibo, evoking nostalgic feelings of youth days down there. Visitors praise the good taste and generous portions of the food, and note that returning to the place is always a pleasure. While the food is generally well-liked, some mention that the service could be improved, especially in friendliness at the counter, to achieve even higher ratings. Overall, it remains a special spot for those craving traditional Venezuelan dishes like pastelitos and patacones, and the staff's attentive service, especially from the owner or chef, adds to its charm.
