This place has a very good selection of Dominican dishes. We have eaten here multiple times and the food here is great. Music on TV entertainment plays in the background too.

Stay away from this place. Food was less than average, the churrasco was dry and not even 4 ounces, no chimichurri and its cost $16.99! They charge you automaticaly 18% service fee and they don't even bother telling you. Its loud and very cheap looking place for what they charge. Don't waste your money going to this "restaurant" I still can't believe I didn't turn around and left as soon as I walked in. I guess I wanted to give it a try. Please don't waste your money.

This unique place will give you more than what you are willing to take, a great deal of grief and regret for letting them take your money in exchange of their mediocre food and service, but in their case the house never loses, they will charge you 18% and keep it quiet, I realized that after I got home and felt stupid for over tipping on top of their charge. My son tried the "churrasco" that they charge $16.99 and two orders of "mofongo" $15.99 (each) I'm not a picky person but this place can make you feel robbed after they deliver their product. Over priced , poor quality food, loud music, lack of customer service skills and imposed mandatory tip, what else can I say. You have been warned!

Love this spot. The food is legit Dominican and the staff is cool/friendly...i went to the other one across the street for a change and walked out due to their poor customer service and also their side order menu isnt as good as what El Malecon offers if you're Vegan. I usually get Mangu, rice, beans and fries. Highly recommend this place!

The churrasco is so good and their Dominican/Peruvian options are delicious. Coldest beers in Miami! Fun family environment & delicious food.

So sad that this place has "Dominican food" slogan. The worst food I ever tested. The place is very dirty. Bad Service. Please, avoid a bad time.. do not visit this place.

Let me start by saying that I love the mangu in this place. Consistently soft and delicious so compliments to the chef. The staff there in general is always amiable as well, but they do have a few kinks to iron out. One being their service. I would understand if they were busy but at times there are two people and it takes over an hr for a quick bite. Two, and this one is simpler, is the lighting. The place is dim and gives a somber mood when I'm eating. I keep coming back because if the food but I would love it if they addressed these issues

Snuck in for a late lunch on Saturday and had the Rabo Guisado, Sancocho and the empanadas. All were good but the Rabo and the “Guisao” sauce were both the best I have ever tried of either one. Rabo fell off the bone and the Guisao will have you licking your chops! You could sip that sauce like a fine wine it’s so good. Get the Mangu as a side, also the best version I’ve ever had! Place is in a strip mall way out west and looks like it can get cheesy at night (open til 4am!).
