It was my first time at this restaurant, and I really liked the decor—it feels like you’re in a hacienda, which truly takes you back to your roots.
I ordered the 8 oz churrasco, and my friend had the 16 oz. Honestly, we were both a bit disappointed with the quality or preparation of the meat. We love this cut for how flavorful and tender it usually is, and we often include it in our home BBQs. But in my opinion, this steak was chewy and didn’t have the usual consistency of a good churrasco. It seemed like it was either lower-quality meat or just not prepared well.
Perhaps it’s prepared differently here, which might explain the difference.

Not their best night. Have dined here previously with much better experience. Server was slow (busser was excellent). Medium-well ribeye came out rare, with parts inedible. Medium-well churrasco came out dry and overcooked. Entrees included a salad but learned at time of bill that it was only house salad and not caesar. Was charged $6.99 additional for each caesar. When we questioned the waiter about the charge and stated that he should have let us know when we ordered, he replied he didn't think so because no restaurant include caesar salads. I guess he doesn't dine out much. We paid the bill but did not tip on the salads. We won't be back, place is not what it used to be sadly.

Outstanding meat, from someone who doesn't like meat, this is the not place I ever order beef. Great prices the ambiance and music was really nice. The service is fantastic. I highly recommend this Restaurant.

Wonderful atmosphere, great live music, really, really, really good food. I'm a pescatarian, and it is hard for me to find good fish and their salmon was delicious.
Had a the Nicatizer Sampler Platter to try their different types of appetizers, they were average and then had Big Daddy 16oz Churrasco served with nice Gallo Pinto (rice and beans), fried plantains and plantain chips the steak was also average but lived the pickled onions. The atmosphere is nice Latin American style but a little bit outdated.

The Churrasco is always tender and tasteful. For appetizer the sample platter is excellent.

The food was horrible. It wasn’t fresh off the grill. We order 2 appetizer platters and they were absolutely terrible. The tacos in the platter, ribs & tortillas tasted old, not to mention the chicharrón and the chorizo. We were definitely served old food from the night before. We then ordered main plates, “The executive churrasco and carne asada, no taste at all and the side dishes gallopinto and the fried plantain also no taste and stale..Fritanga food tastes 100% better than this “upscale” Nicaraguan restaurant. They need to do something about their food, it needs to be of better quality. Not happy I spent over $300 in very poor tasting and quality food. Sad to say that the best thing we had was the service and the desserts. But you live and learn. Never going there again. 😠🤦🏻♀️
