El Toro Loco Churrascaria Pinecrest Food Truck

I ordered a brisket tamal and it did not have a single bit of meat inside--none! It was bland and seemingly mixed with cornmeal. I hope their other items are better. I will not blame the food truck employee; he was pleasant. I asked if the tamal was made by them, and he stated it was made by the corporation. I had asked if there was meat (brisket) inside the tamal and was told that there was. 5$ wasted. :/

We eat from El Toro Loco every single week and always order from the Kendall location, where we pick up our food ourselves. The quality and portions are consistently great when ordering directly.

A few months ago, we started trying Uber Eats for convenience, but it’s just not the same. Since we live in Coral Gables, our Uber Eats orders get fulfilled by the South Miami location (a food truck near Pinecrest), and the experience has been disappointing. For example, when ordering the Picada Special (2 lbs), we received barely half the portion, and the quality wasn’t up to par.

If you want the best experience with El Toro Loco, do yourself a favor—order directly from the Kendall location and pick it up yourself. Avoid ordering through Uber Eats or from the South Miami location (6603 S Dixie Hwy, Miami, FL 33143) if you care about portion size and quality.

The food is great but the service is horrendous. The cashier did not know our order was ready for 15 minutes after arriving. Overall the order took a little over an 1 hour to get ready. Ordered at 8:21 and picked up at 9:31. It was just sitting at the window still until I asked again.

To be clear, there is an El Toro Loco food truck but this one here is a proper restaurant, and an excellent one!

I love this place!! The food is absolutely delicious!! It’s also super convenient for my lunch break, they are quick, and the food is always amaizing. The portions are generous, and the prices can’t be beat. The staff is incredibly friendly! I highly recommend it!
