It was a nice welcoming atmosphere and as soon as I sat down, the waitress came over with a jug of water and two filled glasses to open with which I appreciated. She remained attentive with that throughout our time there. The food was good and hit the spot.
My husband and I are visiting from Atlanta. We walked over to El Tropico, from our hotel, and were immediately drawn in by the line of people standing at the take-out window.
We dined in. We ordered Pallamillo Steak with Rice + Black Beans + Toasted Bread and the Cuban Medionoche Sandwich.
Everything was freshly prepared and tasted fantastic...full of flavor. The prices were very reasonable and the service was courteous and punctual/attentive.

Very clean, great attention from staff, excellent food and portions, but way overpriced.$2.30 for a cup of coffee with milk is outrageous, same for buttered toast, another $2,30. Not going back for b'fast.
