This restaurant was surprisingly nice. Going out in Miami is a hit or miss, so we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food & service. The place is gorgeous, but we were disappointed with the lack of white table linens. The photos advertise white table linens & there are none. So, although the place is gorgeous, the bare tables are not attractive. The decor & lighting are fabulous. You feel like you're stepping back in time. We had a reservation at 6:30 PM & the restaurant was empty, which is normal for that time. We enjoy having the place to ourselves, but we were sat at a tiny table in a corner. I feel like given the early time of our reservation & empty restaurant we should have been given the option to sit at a roomier or more romantic table by the hostess. It's a small detail & oversight that could have made all the difference. We were greeted very warming by the staff. Katie was lovely as was the rest of the team. However, I will point out that staff wearing Nike sneakers is not an appropriate look for the place. The staff should really mind their appearance & dress according to the ambiance of the venue. The menu is small but were delighted by the food. First of all, the loved the champagne by the glass. The bartender opened the bottle tableside & the serving was generous. The food was absolutely delicious. The bread, crab croquettes, hamachi crudo, seabass, steak, broccolini & desserts were outstanding. Our check was $380 with gratuity included. We found it reasonable. Also, there was a DJ playing vinyl records that did not fit the ambiance either. The music playing was more suited for a Jamaican beach bar than a fancy restaurant. I think this place has potential, but they need to fix the small details that make the difference. Bring back the white table linens, make sure the staff's uniform is befitting of the ambiance you wish to portray, play appropriate music (like lounge music, jazz or Bossa nova). Keep up the good work otherwise!

Exceptional service from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. The servers were very accommodating, prompt, and very thorough with the food and table presentation. MARIE, our server, was the best we've experienced in a long time here in Miami. She was very attentive to our needs. Thank you!

Wonderful first time my husband and I had. Our server Lisa was amazing, she made sure we had everything we needed and the food was great. We loved everything from the music to decorations and most definitely will be returning.

Absolutely fantastic place to eat steak 🥩. Went here for my birthday. Had the filet mignon, grilled octopus 🐙, cream spinach and branzino. Ended with the lava cake 🍫. Service was very attentive and provided us with great recommendations for wine 🍷. The decor was amazing too, like an old NY style steak house.

Definitely a great option for Miami Spice. Great shrimp cocktail and the pan-seared seabass is a must try! Light my fire was my favorite cocktail!!!

My husband and I grabbed a drink at the bar waiting for our friends before our reservation. Started off wonderful. Lovely ambiance. Harry is absolutely phenomenal! He greeted us right away. He was friendly, knowledgeable, very accommodating and made sure to check in on a second drink when our glasses were low. I wish we would have had dinner at the bar instead of going to our table. Our server (never introduced her name) kinda dropped the ball on service. Typically someone should greet their table under a minute - we waited several and had to ask if the server was ever going to come over... We Waited a long time to even get a drink order in, had to ask for the wine list.. there was 4 of us, so we ordered a dozen of oysters.. did not tell us the kind of oysters they were (we had to ask) only brought a half dozen.. was kind of dry and short when asking for recommendations. Forgot our pasta dish.. never checked in, so asked the food runner where our pasta was at... came out towards the end of the steak we ordered. The pasta noodles probably needed an additional 30 seconds - they should al dente, not hard. Didn't bother staying for dessert because at this point we became disappointed. Went and had dessert & a bottle of champagne at Faena Living room instead. If it wasn't for Harry - this review would have been 2 stars based on dinner service. If dinner service would have been how Harry took care of us, would have been a perfect score. I can over look some minor details, like hard pasta. I also suggest not changing the music mid song. Happened a few times through out dinner. Major rookie movie.
The place is gorgeous and stunning. The food, for the price, I am not sure is the best. Felt it was a little salty. Might have to give it another try. Service was excellent.
