Alejandro is fascinating, with a very positive attitude, and ready to help clients with their needs. A little nice joint here at the Miami airport. The coffee flavor is simply amazing.
Not food
One of the best meals I’ve had at an airport—flavorful, healthy, and truly felt homemade! It’s rare to find food this good while traveling. Alejandro was incredibly kind and made the experience even better. Highly recommended!
So unfortunately they were out of flatbread and vegan cheese. The bowl was pretty sad. A TON of bland rice, and wet veggies. The beans and plantains were yummy. I was so hungry I ate the whole thing, but ya definitely could be better. They weren’t the nicest either. Sigh😒 Giving three stars because at least they technically have options at an airport seriously lacking in them. Updated from previous review on 2025-05-18
Service was fast and liked that I could see how the sandwiches looked before purchasing. However, The food was very cold and chicken was very dry. Staff also was not welcoming at all when asked questions, almost as if it was a bother answer anything.
Such good food! Reasonable airport prices and the friendliest workers. Love!!!!
I had time to spare before my flight out of MIA. Lots of food to choose from. I decided I would have some regional food before heading home. Best thing I did, I had the Ropa Vieja Bowl (pulled pork with peppers, black beans and rice. If I get back to MIA I will enjoy this Cuban food again.
I wish I could give 0 stars. The person tending the register should know how to communicate in English. Gentleman was defensive when I asked about the status of the order. His confusion led to commotion and an almost missed flight. Instead of trying to correct the mistake he wasted precious airport time explaining to two people behind the counter (in Spanish - which I understood) that I asked for the wrong thing and it was my fault. He also refused to issue a refund.
Do NOT eat here unless you have all day to attempt to communicate with the staff and wait for a cold/dry chicken sandwich with days old lettuce and tomatoes.
If you have the time, get thr vegan Flatbread! Takes about 20 minutes and it's worth it and great for sharing. It's a decent size and the fried plantains was a surprise on this Flatbread pizza. Get a Cuban coffee too!
It was not good sandwich meat was cold 😫 on the inside and tip suggested was ridiculous, starting at 20 % to 25% the service was not good, no how can I help you,or good morning and she expects a tip I don't get it

I’m sorry but as soon as I bit into my ham and cheese Cuban, I instantly regretted it. I had to spit it out. And I LOVE bread and I love a ham and Swiss Cuban but this was not it. My husband did the same thing and he eats EVERYTHING. I would not recommend this place at all.

Excellent place for Vegan & Vegetarian people in the heart ♥️ of Miami Airport - opposite to gate D27. Try Arroz Con Leche if you have a sweet tooth. It’s so yummy 🤤

I had a connection in Miami on my way to and from the final destination. The first time I stopped at Estefan Kitchen Express they didn't have any of the vegan options, so I ended up eating a cold falafel wrap from Fig & Fennel. The second time, they had the veggie bowl available, but no beans. I was so hungry and tired that I got it anyway - I just needed food. Definitely not a good decision. It was such a sad bowl. Flavorless rice, soaking vegetables, sweet corn from a can... the only good thing was the plantain. Thankfully they didn't mess that up. But it was not worth it. The falafel wrap at least had flavor and protein, would go for it again next time. Giving 3 stars just because the airport is really not vegan-friendly and at least Estefan has options.
SUCH RUDE SERVICE. The guy at the counter acts like your bothering him if you have questions. I spent almost $30 for a mousse dessert a muffin and a bag of chips. I had to ask for a bag. Then he just left it on the counter and I had to bag my own purchase. I had limited mobility and was wearing a brace. That didn't matter to him as he offered no assistance.
The food was not worth the price either.
