We stumbled into Etzel Itzik Deli near Aventura Mall and were genuinely surprised by how good it was. This family-run Middle Eastern Jewish deli serves up fresh, clean-tasting food with vibrant herb flavors. The chicken shawarma stood out—tender, flavorful, and not greasy at all. Everything felt homemade and wholesome. It’s a great spot for a quick, satisfying bite, and the prices are fair—about $15 to $20 per person. One thing to note: tip is already included in the bill. Highly recommend.

Fresh food done right. Been here at least once a month for years. Reminds me of NYC delis where you can get and get out without too much interference or engagement. Know your order, eat, pay, move on. Wish there were more old school establishments sticking around.

Stopped in for breakfast based on a recommendation from a family member. So glad we did. The place is small and you can tell it's been at this location a long time. Our server was wonderful and made great recommendations. Had the Shakshuka and added feta, it was so good and the Green Omelette was also very good. I loved that it was served with multiple side salads and fresh pita (it was really great). We felt were in a cafe in Israel! If you are adventurous and like to try something new, this place is it.
