Awful tourist trap. Terrible, overpriced food - and even worse service. Staff is inexperienced and unprofessional.

Terrible, I dont even know where to start. I really don't enjoy writing reviews like this. However, I feel like I cannot not share. Went there for a friend's celebration. There was maybe ten to fifteen of us. They sat us in an area where the tables were separated, I guess to accommodate the number of guests? But what's the point of that, the whole point is to be close and connected. We eneded up rearranging the tables to make it more intimate. We sat there for a while, waiting for our waitress to come. She asked anybody if they want drinks a few said, yes, and asked if we wanted water and we said yes. I would say a good twenty minutes came by.They finally got the drinks and still no water. She then said that she was only taking appetizer orders at the moment. But it wasn't clear on the menu, what was an appetizer, and what wasn't. Also, the menu is a scam and half. They have these 3 spreads on the left side, and they range from 12 to $16 I believe, however if you order the spreads, you'll get just that. you won't be able to spread it on anything. You have to purchase the bread separately. Its like, what kind of a scam is that? What place doesnt offer bread on the house? Also who in their right mind is gonna just orderSpread ?!?!? or just order bread. Obviously, you have to get both.So it's really, really petty, nickel and diming customers for basics..... The rest of the menu Everything is so overpriced.... And two items on the appetizers they were out of...so disappointing. They were out of the oysters and the carpaccio. I wanted to get the bread with the spread and oysters, and since they didn't have that, I just said let me get the snapper for dinner, and that's all, the guy next to me wanted the carpaccio, and of course was disappointed... The drinks are extremely expensive as well, so I didn't want to drink. When the first appetizers came out, they just put them on the table, Didn't give them to the appropriate person who ordered them. The girl across for me ordered the spreads and bread, imagine bread being an item. You can order on a restaurant menu?? The spreads were decent in taste, nothing special, However the bread was so stale.... all 3 of them. At one point the waitress came over and was going over some menu items and then out of nowhere, she screamed gleefully to her right towards the entrance and we're not sure why?? she either saw someone she knew I believe or maybe they were about to sing happy birthday and had to join? Anyways she left abruptly, without saying anything... The girl who she was speaking with at the table was like, What's going on?? was so awkward. Also, the music there was so loud. There wasn't a DJ or anything, but we could not hear each other While we were eating dinner and chatting, we had to raise our voices and it was very uncomfortable. So many places in Miami do this, I have no idea why. I get it, You want there to be music, but it has to be at a reasonable level Where your guests can still dine and not have to raise their voices to hear each other, so annoying. I'll give the ambience of the place is definitely nice. They spent a lot of money and everything. But my snapper finally came. And no good. The rice was not warm at all and the snapper Itself was on the warm side as it was sitting or was reheated. all the food seems like it was just sitting there for a while. Not warm, not tasty. Not anything, I mean, it was not worth the $50 Whatsoever. Someone mentioned that the owner was that a table dancing and talkin, he had a hat on. If that was the case, dude, you need to get that hat off and get yourself in the kitchen or help yourself with the wait staff or something because it just wasn't cutting it... Everything on the menu seems so overpriced as well, on the bottom right of the menu they also nickel and dime for little things like spreads and sauces. I got my bill. There were some fees, I didn't tip an extra dollar. I'm sorry I really couldn't. I normally do my best to empathize

Terrible Experience – Deceptive and Overpriced!
Went for Ladies’ Night, expecting free drinks as advertised. Turns out, only ONE cocktail is free, and you still have to pay 22% service charge plus taxes. Same scam applies to their Happy Hour deals. In the end, our bill was $46, but with extra fees, it shot up to $80! The most fake Ladies Night ever!!!
Tables were filthy, and getting a waiter’s attention was nearly impossible. No surprise the place was almost empty. Hopefully, it shuts down soon with such dishonest practices.
Avoid this place at all costs!

Beautiful atmosphere and overall good vibe. Service was slow and food priced significantly above quality. I would go back for drinks with friends and some apps but not likely to be a dinner mainstay.

I absolutely loved our experience at Fabel on Valentine’s Day. Our service was amazing I am so happy we had Alejandro! He was kind, recommended great drinks, brought a smile with every item, and was super fast! I love the 3 course meal they offered specifically for Valentine’s Day with the option to still order more if necessary. The only thing that didn’t make it a perfect 5 was that fact that Credit we wanted a hookah. For some reason that took so long we were ready to go. That isn’t on our server because he only handles food and drinks. Other than that it’s like Tulum in Miami beautiful ambience. Somewhat of a hidden gem.
Steak was cooked to perfection, I had one of their signature drinks as well as a French 75 both were made to exactly how I like on top of that our courses came with champagne. The owners really outdid themselves with this restaurant!

If you’re looking for a romantic, unforgettable Valentine’s dinner, Fabel is NOT the place. If, however, you enjoy paying top dollar to be packed in like a sardine, ignored by servers, and fed what can only be described as Michelin-starred hospital food, then congratulations—you’ve found your dream restaurant!
Let’s start with the crowd control, or rather, the complete lack of it. The tables were so close together that I accidentally got engaged to the couple next to us. By the end of the night, I knew their anniversary, their dog’s name, and their preferred safe word. Intimate dining? More like forced social experiment.
And where was the entertainment? No DJ. No fire dancers. Not even a rogue waiter doing a dramatic tray spill. The only spectacle was watching desperate couples wave down their servers like they were stranded at sea.
Now, the food—oh boy. I’m not sure what happened in the kitchen, but everything tasted like a chef lost a bet. The steak was so tough I considered using it to resole my shoes. The seafood? Let’s just say it had a “farewell tour” kind of vibe. And the portions were so small I had to check if it was part of some avant-garde fasting experience.
Service? I’ve seen ghosts more responsive. Our server disappeared faster than my excitement for the evening. Drinks took forever, and when they finally arrived, they were watered down, probably from the bartender’s tears.
Bottom line: Fabel on Valentine’s Day was the most expensive way to feel single in a relationship. If you’re looking for a memorable night, this place will deliver—but only in the way a bad tattoo does. Avoid.

Mila, this place is not. On my recent journey to Wynwood (where I usually avoid) I went here for brunch. I had a very hard time finding the place to start... Where are the signs?? I then trekked up a staircase that reminded me of Mayan ruins, which would be cool if there were actually a hostess at the top to greet you. I looked around and called my friend who made the rez to see if I was at the right location.
Finally some hostess came around the corner of their lush entryway and greeted me. The hostess asked if I had a reservation and I don't understand why we even needed to make one...After entering, I saw nothing but dead space. This is Miami on a beautiful Sunday in season and the place is dead! This waved red flags. I joined my party and was served by a nice young man who was very knowledgeable of the menu. Unfortunately this is where the rest of the experience died. The food and drink are exorbitantly overpriced and the quality is deplorable. There was absolutely no passion in the cooking and it was simply bland and inedible on some dishes- the burger was almost raw! On top of it, it took almost 45 minutes to come to the table which was a joke since we were the only table in this massive setting-- was the chef on a smoke break?
We got our check and left to go get some Coyo tacos around the corner as we were still hungry even after paying nearly $600 for a brunch tab. Fabel Wynwood is not a story I will read again unfortunately.

Great restaurant. Was not easy to find the entrance. Should have more signs with directions z food was good, waiter was ok. They really push to buy expensive drinks. Atmosphere was good. Beautiful decorations but a lot of incense with strong smell.

Restaurantji Recommends
I’ve been to this restaurant a few times now - what draws me there is a cool, eclectic atmosphere, perfect outdoor place to gather with friends on a great Florida weather night. However I gave 4 stars for several reasons:
The food and cocktails is always delicious yet overpriced ($24 cocktails) so be prepared to spend more than usual even compared to some other nice places in Miami.
If you plan to have a conversation with your party come earlier in the evening as the later it gets music starts blasting and you will be screaming at each other. They play great music though.
It is located in a grungy Wynwood so coming out of out there dressed up nice you feel a bit out of place just FYI.
Service could be more attentive, our food didn’t come on time and there were a few details missing.
Overall it’s a cool, unique place to go.

Amazing atmosphere, very limited options of food, small portions, super pricy and flavour just ok. Service was 0/10 - horrible. Waitresses rude and unpleasant, seemed like they were doing us a favour by serving us.

Our visit to Fable was a huge letdown. The atmosphere might look inviting at first glance, but the experience fell apart quickly. Service was inattentive and disorganized, leaving us feeling ignored most of the night.
The food was far from memorable—bland, uninspired, and definitely not worth the price. For a place that markets itself as elevated dining, it completely missed the mark.
What’s worse is their disingenuous approach to feedback. They responded to my wife’s review pretending to care, but it was all just for show. They never followed up or made any real effort to resolve our concerns.
This place prioritizes appearances over substance and customer care. Do yourself a favor and choose a restaurant that actually values its diners.

UPDATE from my last review:
(I had high hopes for Fable after seeing their response to my initial review, which seemed like they genuinely cared about addressing concerns. Unfortunately, it turned out to be nothing more than a performance. Despite their promise to follow up, I never heard back. It's disappointing to see a restaurant use customer feedback as a publicity tactic to appear attentive rather than actually valuing their diners' experiences. Actions speak louder than words, and in this case, Fable failed to deliver. If you're going to pretend to care, at least follow through)
The actual review:
Our experience at Fabel was nothing short of disastrous. We had a 9 PM reservation, yet upon arrival, we were informed that our table was not ready due to the restaurant being "backed up." They asked us to wait at the bar for 30 minutes to an hour, despite the fact that we had plans after dinner, including a prepaid table at a club.
The staff showed absolutely no understanding of our situation and failed to provide even a basic apology. When we requested a refund of our $400 deposit so we could dine elsewhere and make it to our next engagement, they flat-out refused. To make matters worse, we were finally seated at 12:30 AM—three and a half hours after our reservation time.
By then, nearly every item on the menu was sold out, leaving us with extremely limited options. The entire experience was beyond unacceptable. What should have been an enjoyable evening turned into a nightmare of wasted time, poor communication, and zero accountability.
I demand a full refund for my bill. What we experienced at Fabel was the most disappointing dining experience of my life, and I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. Fabel’s complete disregard for its customers is appalling.

Party of 11 ordered food at 9:45. And by midnight not ONE dish had come out. Spoke to who seemed like a floor manager and 2 main and 2 appetizers came out. Tasty. But at his point half my party had left to try to get food elsewhere. Needless to say, not giving them a second chance to ruin my night.
