“I recently had the pleasure of dining at “El Pirata” and I can confidently say it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.
The service was outstanding, the owners so friendly, attentive, they treat you like family!! We had the tamales, masitas de puerco, camarones enchilados..Out of this world!!! El congris Wow.. Mouth watering!!! The food is soo flavorful, and absolutely delicious!!!
Talking about dessert..The best arroz con leche you’ll ever have!!.. “El Pirata” is the place to go. My family and me will definitely be returning.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to everyone!!“

“A hidden gem for seafood lovers in Sweet Water on Flagler street. That’s my favorite lunch restaurant whenever I am at FIU.
The seafood is freshly prepared with very reasonable prices. The service is very friendly in a nice and clean, but simple, environment.“

“Service was great. I recommend Ana. She was very sweet and attended my every need. Food was great. I had a Croqueta Preparada and it was fresh, fresh bread, hot croquetas, and melted cheesy. A lovely combo. Only problem is their water, it’s not filtered well. I suggest getting a cold water bottle. Enjoy“

“All I have to say is WOW! I am so happy I obtained a reservation here after a 6 month wait list. It was worth every moment. The hand breaded chicken was so crispy you could hear the crunch on 40th street and bird road. The chef also hand made the coleslaw and just another win. Even the sous chef (who looks a model) made us top notch cocktails. 20/10 get on the list!“
