We walked into Shawarma Al Basha without previously knowing about it, and it was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, but the food is really excellent! It's authentic Lebanese cuisine. Call it comfort food or soul food, it checks all the boxes. I highly recommend it.

I tried the food in the place and got disappointed, some foods was probably warmed in a microwave and other seemed and tasted not fresh. Lebanese kitchen is usually delicious! But not this one.

The visit to Shawarma al Bashar was disappointing. I ordered a plate with many different foods to try as much as I could. For starters they didn't have chicken. How do you open for business 11:30am doors just opened for lunch. That's the first gone wrong, their pita bread tasted like store bought tasteless hard in a plastic bag. Their hummus didn't have much of a taste and I tasted something bitter like vinegar not a good taste for hummus. The mujadara Lebanese rice with lentils, the lentils were hard not cooked thru and it had no flavor either. Lastly the Kafta kabobs had a little flavor but mostly tasted like hamburger. The pistachio baklava was hard also not moist. All & all there's nothing I would go back to this place. The Mediterranean Cafe I visit Cafe Motek food is extraordinary they bake their own pita bread which is amazing as does their hummus and their shawarma 😋.

Great Shawarma! I would order to go though, ugly decoration, low ceilings, the look and feel is a mix of a subway sandwich shop and a restaurant with table cloths, the two just don’t match
