First time here on Saturday at 4. 12 people ahead of me but the line moved fast. Most everything here seams to be fried. I wanted fried fish. They don't offer a grouper fillet. I saw fried grouper STEAK. $19.95 with red beans & rice. I have never seen grouper steaked before. The problem with steaked fish is you have to deal with the bones. I received 2 small steaks that were way over cooked, dried out and had really no flavor. I'm sure they have other things that are very good but I can't recommend this dish. Not close to home so may or may not go back

First time . Small outside seating. It's been there for years and shows it. Line up and wait to the counter to order. We had the breaded shrimp with rice and beans. Some flavor. About averge.
When I moved to Miami in 2004, i found this hidden gem in Allapatah and I have been a loyal costumer 16 years later. Best fish empanadas ever and las minutas remind me of Cuba. Prices are amazingly fair for the quality of the product. I also buy the fresh fish in the market for my ceviches and i have never been disappointed.
The best! Highly recommended fresh and delivered
