In town on business, as a walk in, immediately greeted by Beto, the owner. For a Tuesday, early evening, his restaurant was busy (good sign). We dined outside, with service from Andreas and a group of assistants. Typically dining outside decreases attention - not at Fratellino. This business is on its toes. Beto moves about touching all guests- he is the consumate host. It sounds corny but if I could, I would eat here 2 or 3 times a week. Solid traditional menu, sizeable portions, appealing wine list and satisfaction all around. Well done Beto and cheers to your restaurant.

Amazing food. Every time I go I try different dishes. They are all delicious. Not as pricey as you would think. And service is amazing. Beto, the owner, is a superb host. He stops by all tables and greets you, ask what he can improve and throws a joke or two to ease the atmosphere. Absolutely you have to go there. It is always packed so make reservations one week in advance for weekends and couple of days on weekdays.

Best food and service. The owner is delightful. Had dinner last night and it was an absolute pleasure. He makes sure you are enjoying your food and experience. He goes out of his way to make you feel special and right at home. I took my friend for her birthday and she loved it. We had the chicken Francese with linguine Alfredo and it was to die for. Authentic Italian food with great service and great portions. It was her birthday and the owner made sure to celebrate her and give her a complimentary desert which was phenomenal. I can’t say enough great things. You won’t regret going this place is AMAZING!

Four of us went to eat and we sat at a table inside. Beto attended to us and it was a great experience. The food was excellent and the personalized attention was wonderful. We ate several different dishes and each one better than the other. We hope to return when we return to Miami.

Beto is the most amazing host, second only to the food! The ossobuco is the best I’ve ever had, as is the gnocchi. The lasagna and lobster ravs are also scrumptious. You can go to pretentious has-beens like the eternally over-rated Carbone, or you can have an authentic Italian meal that stands out, complete with warm, gracious service and true Italian flair.

I decided to visit this restaurant attracted by its good rating, but it seems that my expectations were a little rushed. The place is... small, to put it kindly, and the peculiar aroma that accompanies it was not among my favorites. At the entrance, I felt somewhat invisible, since no one deigned to welcome me. So, like an urban explorer, I advanced towards the counter.
There I met a waiter who, with the charm of a cactus, motioned for me to wait outside. Surprised and somewhat confused, I obeyed. Once outside, another person (this time friendlier) suggested that I talk to another waiter. I went back in, and this time I was greeted by someone more friendly who informed me that I should wait for a table to become available or, alternatively, enjoy the sweltering heat outside. Faced with such options, I decided to wait... but it didn't take me long to realize that the omens of my culinary instinct suggested I try my luck elsewhere.
And so I did. I went to another Italian restaurant in the neighborhood: more spacious, with an aroma that didn't make me doubt my choice, delicious food, and a staff that instead of vague gestures, offered smiles.

The food is good and so is the service. However, they do not allow you to frequent the place in t-shirts or sports clothing, being a simple restaurant with chairs on the street. Dont have much sense. Sitting outside in the summer is unbearable, they should have more powerful fans.
I suggest making a reservation before you go.

This place is truly worth paying a visit! The food is beyond delicious. Beto, the owner, makes you feel like you are in his house, making you feel welcome and ensuring you are enjoying yourself.
We tried the burrata, grilled octopus, green pasta with shrimps, mussels, lasagna, fillet mignon, and risotto. Also, their 4-cheese gnocchi and deserts are to die for.
My daughter can’t have any gluten and they were very accommodating to make sure she could have a delicious and safe meal.
Miami’s best Italian food, without a doubt.
Dietary restrictions: Our daughter has Celiac and and can’t have any gluten. Beto, the owner immediately gave us options and was very accommodating to ensure she could enjoy a nice meal.

Incredible place, great food, great location. A touch of delicacy is given to every single plate in this restaurant. Intimidating, yet subtle is the mixture that you taste with the many different variations that you can have for each dish. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is trying to experience some high quality Italian food prepared with premium ingredients. I also have to say that the intimacy if the place is unmatched as its small size gives you a sense of comfort.

The best Italian food in Miami and most likely in Florida. The service is top tier and everyone is super attentive and friendly. Every time we come here, we are treated well by the wonderful staff. The lasagna is to die for!!! I highly recommend you visit when you visit Coral Gables!!
