I used to come here for local fritanga because it was reasonably priced, but after today, I won’t be returning. I’ve never experienced a situation where a restaurant employee questioned my order — asking why I was choosing certain items, commenting on the portion size, or implying it wouldn’t be enough to satisfy me. Frankly, that’s not their place. I come in, order, and pay. That should be the end of it.
To make matters worse, the service was extremely slow. While I was waiting, a man possibly another customer or staff made an unnecessary comment about my order, saying I was already “full of carbs” for choosing tajadas con queso. Instead of stepping in or focusing on my service, the employee continued to question my order as well. It was unprofessional and honestly uncomfortable.
I hope the owner or manager sees this and takes the time to speak with their staff about customer service and basic respect.

Too expensive
I paid for 3 carne asadas and 1 cheese. Got home only to see that only the 3 carne asadas were in the box. unacceptable.

Small neighborhood place. The food is good, typical, and decently priced. Get in line as soon as you walk in, it tends to get long. Staff is friendly and work quickly to get the line going. The quality is ok, tasty, just not gourmet. The seating is had booths, outdated. So it's best to-go.

The food is good but the service is so poor. It's not worth spending 30 min eating a good meal when the service lives in your memory for longer. Going there and asking questions feels like you're bothering them. It's like you need to beg for them to service you. And they won't even look at you so you're not sure their listening.
Last time I left without buying anything and just went to palacio de los jugos. I just wanted tajadas but the woman in the front with the little waist was rude and wasnt acknowledging me. Thankfully other fritangas exist.
Love Nica food but this gave us food poisoning 😭 beware.
