We came here for second time because we really liked it the first time but this time it was nor the same, service was bad we had to wait 30 minutes for our table even though we had reservation a were 15 minutes early to it and food was great but they only put chopsticks at your table like there's some food you actually need forks and spoons and when we ask for them our service took to long to bring it our food was already cold that we had to take it to go and leave. i feel like they were way too full and just didn't give the best service this time and it's sad because we went for a very special occasion it was my husband's birthday and i wanted him to get a very special moment
It’s a place where we occasionally get together with friends
Peter was incredible!! He was attentive and made us feel so welcome, I would go back for the food and service 100%!!
Waiting time for table was 30 minutes. Music was way too loud and tables were to close. I felt I was part of my next table parties. I heard them at the point that I tought I was part of their conversations.
Everything was incredible, the dinner was spectacular, and Jorge was the best host of the evening! 1000/10! I'll be back!
Incroyable moment et c'était vraiment très très bon! Je recommande à tout le monde cette magnifique adresse.
FIRST AND LAST Visit to Gekko – A Disappointing Experience I chased Gekko for the first—and definitely last—time. I made a reservation (standard location) for 10:30 PM. Upon arrival, I was told I had to wait 45 minutes and would be seated outside. By “outside,” they meant on the sidewalk, with no fan, no ambiance, and no amenities—just a table and chairs exposed to the heat. We waited nearly 45 minutes at that outdoor table with no sign of service. Thankfully, a waiter eventually came and did his best. But let's be clear: this “outdoor area” seems like something created to squeeze in more guests—completely detached from the style, design, and experience shown in photos or inside the restaurant. It felt like being in a completely different, lesser place. Miami was extremely hot, and we were sweating due to the high temperatures. It is unacceptable to sell this space as a dining area when it lacks basic conditions like fans or proper ventilation. This ended up being the worst $500 I've ever spent. Poor ambiance, average food, lack of customer care, and no regard for guests who reserve in advance, leave their credit card, and follow your rules—expecting, in return, a minimum standard of service and respect.
Doorman would not let me inside even after showing him my reservation. He thought my reservation at midnight was for the next day, even after explaining to him that midnight then turns into the next day, so my reservation was correct. He still refused to let me in. They also refused to let my girls use the bathroom. It was a very poor experience, especially since I live directly above this place in the same building. The doorman wouldn't even let me speak to the manager. Finally I had to hop the rope past the doorman to go inside and then showed my reservation to the manager. He understood my reservation was correct and got us seated about 10 mins later, and from there everything was fine. But still does not make up for the ridiculous way we were treated beforehand.
Kevin was awesome! He was very attentive and made sure we had a great experience. Will dine here again!

You make a reservation for nothing because you still have to wait 1 hour to get seated and then seat you at the bar which is very uncomfortable if you are doing family style.
Food was amazing as first time visitors our waitress was well informed of the menu and had great suggestions. Can’t wait to go back .
From the moment we arrived, the experience was underwhelming and frustrating. When we pulled up to valet, the attendant told me the price was $80, which felt outrageous. After some back and forth, we settled on $40, but he was rude and arrogant throughout the exchange. Not a great first impression. Despite arriving before our reservation time, we were told it would be a 45-minute wait to sit inside. With limited options, we took an outdoor table. Unfortunately, we were seated at the last table outside, next to a side door, basically on the sidewalk. The ambiance was nonexistent — the speakers kept flickering on and off for two hours, and there was no vibe at all. To make matters worse, when I used the link the valet sent to retrieve my car, the app charged me $22.50 — which I paid. The valet then harassed us, claiming the price was now $50, and said if we ever came back, he wouldn't valet our car again. For a $450 bill, I expected much more from the overall experience. Again, the food and waiter service were great, but everything else — from the valet situation to the poor seating — made it hard to enjoy the evening. I'll be looking elsewhere next time.
The host are soo bad. Made us waiting for 1h and we only got a table after we escalated it
