Gekko is one of the most expensive restaurants in Miami. The food is worth it though. Shared Wagyu Crispy rice, lobster dumplings, salmon truffle maki ( I would go back and just eat this it's that good). A5 Wagyu roll outstanding, spicy blue fin tuna (crispy part over powered the roll), salmon nigiri with truffle, filet-soo good. Cocktail Beber conmigo delicious. Highly recommend Gekko, just be prepared to dish out $$$$
Booked a table in the main dining room for four people on Friday night. When we arrived, we walked up to the entrance and saw the hostess stand where four of the staff were talking to each other. Since they didn't say anything, we then went to the door to open it and they finally broke away from their conversation and told us we needed to check...
The server wasn't very friendly. Kind of mean when we only requested small plates. She only spoke to us when she asked for additional tip on top of the 20% they already charge. Food is great but is a great lack of service to have employees who don't care about customers. Bad Bunny!!!
