I am so disappointed to write this review as I used to absolutely enjoy this establishment. The salads have always been tasty and felt fresh. However, my customer service experiences lately at this place have thoroughly disappointed me. The owner or manager, (I’m unsure what position) was always kind at first. After calling to place an order through the phone months ago, he told me they were busy and to use the online ordering platform to which I tried and was unable to use. I explained this to him and he told me to keep trying. I did but told him I had no luck. He hesitantly took my order and I just chalked it up to him being busy and having a bad day so I didn’t hold it against Giardino’s.
However, my latest experience was absolutely appalling. For reference, the only food I had ate out for the week was Giardino’s, specifically, Ody’s Toss with tropical chicken. Sadly, I had acquired colitis and ended up in the ER within hours of eating this salad and I wanted to let the business know in advance so that they were aware, when I spoke to the same guy that picked up the phone months ago, he defensively told me that it wasn’t possible because “they make everything fresh daily” to which I responded with “I completely understand but this is the only place I ate out at and was told by a doctor that it had to be from a restaurant outting”. He said “I’m sorry you feel that way but it can’t be”.
I understand that the foods are made fresh everyday but regardless, as an owner, manager, or employee, it was important to me to let Giardino’s know in advance just in case anyone else got sick and to look into the matter. There was no solution given just denial and my issue being dismissed.
I used to really enjoy this place so it saddens me that I will no longer be a customer here. There are some people reviewing that how could someone order when the owner/employees speak Spanish and I just want to say that is pretty normal of miami and not a bother at all, that is pretty unfair to say. Hopefully with their foods, they could at least make an effort to look into the problem instead of dismissing their customers experience.
I’m sure that I will get a response to speak more about this matter with the restaurant and I politely decline as I was as nice as I possibly could be on the phone when I spoke to them about this matter until I felt absolutely dismissed.

We were debating where we could go to get some dinner last Saturday and I suggested Giardino Gourmet Salads. I remember their delicious salads from previous times. I had the Mama Mia! Piccolo (small salad), which consists of romaine greens, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, goat cheese, almonds, balsamic vinaigrette and garlic croutons. I added spinach, arugula, and grilled chicken for protein. My husband had a My Way wrap and made it his way with several veggies, grains, and grilled chicken for protein. The tortillas are approximately 11-12 inches giving you ample space to load up your favorite ingredients. The wrap was pretty big and he wasn’t able to eat it all.
We are both health conscious about the foods we eat and we thought this was a great choice for a healthy meal for us as opposed to a greasy burger at the typical fast food chain restaurant. This is a great place for people who are health conscious and want to get out of their comfort zone to get to know the positive aspects of eating healthy. Everything was delicious, fresh, and was prepared by Maria with care. Their menu includes salads, wraps, and bowls.
This was my husband’s first time and he was impressed. We will definitely be coming back more often. Highly recommend! 😃

I am very disappointed by how bad the quality of the food has become. My mother and I ordered a salad each and we had to take out a lot of bad spinach/lettuce. Some of it was even slimy it was so bad. This place used to be really good & have the freshest salads but now it seems they are serving whatever & not caring about the quality of food. Service is also not the best. I called to inquire if there was dairy in any of the soups, the person kept saying she didn't know and did not even try to find out. I had to ask if anyone else knew in order to get the answer. Hoping management can improve the service and quality to how it used to be. I used to really enjoy this place.

I am not a salad lover but I make an exception for their Chicken Caesar Salad. Their Caesar Salad dressing is exceptional and makes the salad. Absolutely delicious. And if you do it as takeout you can dress it up with avocado, almond slices, extra parmesan cheese, etc. to make it even better. A large, with extra chicken, is enough to feed two people.
