Great place but so loud at night with trains and planes.
A clean, friendly and great place to rest and recuperate.
Even though it's says airport it's very loud. Train whistles at 4am. Low water pressure. Has to be better alternatives
2nd time staying at this hotel within 3 months. The shuttle driver Carlos refused to take us to Fritanga which was 0.8 miles away, he took a group to Target which was about 4 or 5 miles away, telling us there were restaurants over there.
When we refused to get out the van, I shared with the guy that was with we wanted to go to Fritanga, he translated to Carlos our request and he said No.
My husband told him to take us back to the hotel as he wasn't going to beg anyone to take us someplace, it was then Carlos said he would.
He passed the street for the restaurant and the other guy asked, if it would be OK if the guy for the next shift could take us, I said fine. I realized it was time for Carlos to clock out at 3 and it was 3:01. However, they were speaking Spanish the entire time. So who knows what they were saying. It could have been about us.
We arrived back at the hotel and the other driver came out and took us to the restaurant, he even mentioned the restaurant was a couple minutes away.
We arrived back at the hotel and I spoke to Eileen who said she was a supervisor, I explained to her our experience and she said it's up to the drivers discretion if he wants to take us somewhere. I shared his behavior and she said she would have to check with him. She never apologized for how we were treated. I did share with her, it was obvious she was siding with Carlos. Her response I didn't say that. I thanked her and shared I would be reaching out to corporate and she said ok. I walked away. Poor customer service.
Breakfast was nice. Room was as expected. Negatives are the noise. Lots of noise from the lobby came into the room. There was a band playing until 8:30 pm, louder in the room than next to the band. 24/7 can hear the ding of the elevator in the room. Would stay elsewhere
Absolutely exceptional they went above and beyond for my group rooms are perfect . Try the potato chowder.

My favorite spot to visit pre cruise
The hotel itself is nice, but it doesn’t look like the pictures at all. The food leaves much to be desired. However, the most disappointing aspect was the staff — they were neither friendly nor attentive. I ordered a hamburger that was definitely not worth the price, and they didn’t even provide napkins or cutlery. We were sitting in the lobby (the only available seating area), and at 8 p.m. the staff practically forced us to leave, without asking politely — just giving us rude looks.

They have NO HEAT and did not bother to say that before taking my payment. Its 56 in Miami and the front desk attitude was like well its an old building not used to it getting cold.

A quick review. The hotel is a great location. The hotel shuttle from airport took 50 mins to arrive to pick us up. After 2 calls to the front desk. The pool is very cold, the hot tub is excellent and very large. The evening reception is non existent, just nacho chips and salsa, broccoli and salary sticks. 2 drinks . This is the worst evening reception I have had at any Hilton property…Please do better with this. The excise room is good, but the bike was not working. The breakfast was very good. The property and our room were clean and looks like it was refreshed recently. No hot water in the evening, so we could not have a bath, just a quick cold shower. An honest review.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. We booked it before and after our cruise. Clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff and they were able to get us checked in a little early. They also have a great breakfast with made to order omelets. They also have an evening reception where you get two complimentary drinks. Even tho it was a little chilly, we still took advantage of the pool. And of course the outdoor hot tub.

This hotel experience was doomed. We booked this for a quick overnight in Miami when heading to the Caribbean. The hotel employees rarely pick up the phone. The automated messaging gives a different pick up location than at the airport. We waited 45 minutes and the shuttle didn't even stop. I was running with my bag and waving my hands but that didn't make a difference. My husband has been in the airline industry for 15 years and has never had a hotel shuttle just ignore waiting guests. I called the hotel on repeat until I finally spoke to someone. When I explained the situation, she said condescendingly that I must have not been there when he drove by. Also the shuttle wouldn't leave again until 6:30. By that point, we would be waiting at the airport for a ride to the hotel for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Mind you, the hotel is 5-10 minutes from the airport depending on traffic. Who knows if the driver would actually stop the next time around. I took an Uber to the hotel and asked to speak to a manager. I was informed that the managers were busy but would call me but never did. We chose this hotel due to the shuttle and proximity to the airport and it was a complete FAIL. If you cannot offer a reliable shuttle then don't offer it.
Other than being able to hear the trains and planes, everything else about the hotel is great. Great for pre and post cruise stays.
I enjoyed my stay very much. The room and service were excellent, very clean and organized room. The staff was also very courteous and customer service oriented. I plan on staying here regularly when visiting Miami.
