I’ve stayed at a lot of embassy suites. This property is very dated. The suite set up that is common to this chain is there but if you are putting your traveling family of four in that room, there are not going to be enough outlets for everyone to charge phones, tablets, watches and all your other electronics.
Other Hilton properties have addressed this with lamps that have USB ports - this property has not (at least in the room we stayed in).
It’s not a walkable location but we had no problem getting ride share while there quickly.
Hot breakfast was good. Manager’s Reception is two drinks per person per nights you stay. For those of us who remember no limits, it’s a bit of an eye roll considering the low end liquor and wines being poured but that appears to be chain wide change.
Best part was in the communal areas talking with other travelers - most of them head to a cruise.

Jasmine was very personable and got me checked into our reservation quickly. She was a big help to me during my entire stay. Jackie is super nice and helpful! I am handicapped and she helped me with all of my questions and needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again soon.

This was the worst stay I have ever had at a Hilton property. I am disgusted with the roomed more than that, the staff. As a former Hilton employee, specifically EmbassySuites, customer service was a top priority. My room sheets were not clean. We asked for 2 extra blankets and only one was delivered. The toilet clogged up and standing water threatened to run over. The shower was luke warm at best leaning closer to cold. I called the front desk several times and no answer. Upon going downstairs, my husband was met by a racist, rude front desk employee, Elsa. She was hanging in the back and was annoyed as if she he was interrupting her. She said there was nothing she could do. The hotel didn't have a plunger. We couldn't change rooms because they were sold out. And to add insult to injury she was condescending and racist. This behavior was despicable. And by the way.. Today is my birthday. This was the worst day ever and it just started. Hilton, do better to all customers of all races. We paid to be here like everyone else. I am deeply saddened and disgusted. This is NOT the culture of the Hilton I once proudly worked for. The condition of the room amd Elsa are a gross misreprentation of the Hilton brand and should be corrected. I should not be charged for a room that has cold water only and an inoperable toilet with 2 adults and 3 children.

Rooms: No hot water and a clogged toilet that was not able to be used with a flood. Hotel staff refused to provide a plunger as they stated there wasn't one and refused to change the room.

DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL!! I have never been more disrespected in my life! My boyfriend and I came here from DC 2 days before our cruise. On the first night we were locked out of our room from 12-1 in the morning because the battery on the door where the key unlocks went dead. We were not able to get any of our belongings. Me and my boyfriend both have medical conditions and needed our medicine that was locked in the room. The front desk agent and auditor were extremely disrespectful and dismissive. I explained the urgency to get our medicine and the auditor said “if we die then just sue the company” while she was smiling!!!! I have never in my life felt so degraded and disrespected. They then said if we have problem with how things are being handled
then they can call the police.(me and my boyfriend are African American and in our early 30’s, so of course the police was equally as disrespectful to us when they arrived)I spoke with the general manager and all he had to say was sorry While smiling stating he will “talk to them “. I paid for a king suite but was downgraded to a double bed . Please do not come here. They have no regard for human life medical conditions Or sympathy. You will be very disappointed! I will not be returning to this hotel In Miami.

Ended up here due to AA overselling my flight. Recently had surgery and my pain meds make me really dizzy. I’ve been trying to order room service for over 30 mintues now so I can take the rest of my medication. Front desk not answering as she’s aware I’m trying to get the restaurant. The in service online order doesn’t show any food options only drinks. I called customer service to try to help me. They told me to hold on why they try to get the restaurant. I was then hung up on. I’m trying to take my medication for my pain and I can’t leave the room asI would probably pass out in the elevator. Here goes a some baby roaches in the bathroom! Just great

The hotel is ok for an overnight stay before a cruise. . There is nothing around this hotel to walk to that is close. Next time we will pick a better location hotel with things to do that are closer to the hotel.

Stayed 1 night - Pre Cruise
The best customer service we've received!
The staff is amazing! Helpful, professional, and Courtesy.
Chris at front desk went above and beyond to get us a cab so we could get to our cruise check in on time.
The food in all avenues was excellent including the restaurant.
The Pure wellness room I choose was beautifully decorated and very clean and fresh with skillfully crafted and beautiful towel designs in the bathroom and bedroom which shows a lot of talent and care by the room attendants.
The entire hotel was very clean.
The location is perfect to both the airport and cruise terminal with shuttle service to both.
I will definitely stay here for our next cruise vacation.

The staff was rude, the shuttle blew by me at the airport making my wait an hour and woke up with bed bug bites.

Noteworthy details: Bed bugs

I didn't sleep during my stay because of a cockroach infestation. I personally killed 12. I reported this to the front desk but I guess not much has been done. This hotel should be closed down and fumigated. I was in room 626. This is a health issue.

Safety: I didn't notice any danger towards customers and myself.

There were GERMAN ROACHES ? in my room ???? Room 633 to be exact. German roaches are not only nasty but can can pose health risks as well. I spoke to the manager about it and all they offered were Hilton points?? Not a room change, parking validation, nothing. I really hope none of them hitched a ride in my luggage. There’s a reason why the hotel is only 3 stars.

Noteworthy details: Find a better hotel without roaches. It is worth the extra minutes driving.

The way that they built that room it has to be an old hotel because why would you have a suite with the bathroom in the bedroom

My stay at this place was terrible. Staff member , Olga was extremely rude and made me feel uncomfortable as a guest. I went down to get the complimentary breakfast and she proceeded to stop me to check my room card (which is ok) , but she did not check anyone else's (which is not okay) . If you are going to implement checking room cards for the breakfast, you need to do that for every guest. After the room key was shown to her, she still proceeded to question if I was truly a guest. Completely out of line ! Horrible customer service and subpar hospitality. I will not be returning back.
