Be prepared to get ripped off. The food was good (not great), however we had terrible service. Our waitress told us the tap water was dirty and we should order sparkling water instead. Our cocktails were delivered after a half hour of waiting. (With ice cubes made from the “dirty water”?!) We were given a lunch menu and were never told prices would be double what was listed. We were shocked when the bill came. I would never have agreed to pay $49.99 for a piece of fish and rice! The waitress complained that we didn’t read the fine print on the (lunch) menu that she gave us at 6pm?? There was a 20% tip automatically applied to the total bill which was fine except that we were also not told that ahead of time. The worst part was that the waitress told us that only 10% went to her and the other 10% went to the “house”. What?? So odd! She asked to give an additional 10-20% tip. A 40% tip for terrible service? The entire experience was so disappointing! I would skip this restaurant and find a better location that has great food, great service, and some integrity.

This spot was very cozy and welcoming. Our waitress Mely was so friendly and made the whole experience exciting! We were in Miami for a short time on a layover and read amazing reviews about Havana Vieja, and the reviews did not disappoint! Highly recommend

The staff is very friendly and polite, this is the only positive thing that we found out. The food was not nice, in particular the main courses, we were all disappointing. The only negative experience we had in Miami, such a pity!

Food not as Cuban as expected. Mojito’s and Sangria was lacked essential alcohol and - too much - ice made them watery in seconds. Waiter was fine and this made it a two star experience.

I took a date to this restaurant in Feb 2022 and the food was fantastic. Mi Primo (my cousin) and I had a dinner on Jan 1, 2024 and it was a complete let down. We ordered Mojitos and they were extremely bitter. We ordered an appetizer of gaucomole and chips and it was bland and unseasoned. We only ate it because we hadn't eaten in hours. Finally the main course arrived - I had pescado frita (fried red snapper) and my cousin had Ropa Vieja. I cannot comment on my cousin's entree but my snapper was completely unseasoned. I had to request Tabasco to give it some seasoning. This experience was completely opposite of my previous experience and I won't be returning. The only reason why it didn't get zero rating was because our server was attentive and a nice guy.

On Thanksgiving, our family dined together, and Augusto truly went the extra mile. He took the time to ask each of us about our favorite cuisines and made stellar recommendations tailored to our tastes. His suggestions were spot on, making him one of the finest waiters I've come across. The food and mojitos were top-notch as well—you're in for a treat, they won't disappoint!
The food was delicious. This was our first trip to Miami Beach area and we picked this place based on reviews and weren’t disappointed. We had the beef and cheese croquettes to start and they were amazing. My husband had a Cuban sandwich with yucca fries and I had the salmon with mash h potatoes and grilled vegetables. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Best food incredible service best of everything!! We were there for a business dinner, 13 people could not sit outside due to storm so they cleared the restaurant to make our evening happen. Passion and devotion and a warmth one rarely finds nowadays! Thank you !!!
