This is not just a meal, it’s an experience. The interior design is modern and chic, with plenty of attention to detail. The staff made us feel special without being overbearing. The duck confit was cooked perfectly, and the seasonal vegetables were a great touch. We also loved the dessert tasting plate – a fun and delicious way to try multiple sweets. I had a phenomenal experience at Hatekel Cafe and Restaurant. The moment I walked in, I felt relaxed and at home. The atmosphere is so calming, with the most nostalgic and beautiful Hebrew-Israeli music playing in the background—it truly set the mood.

Hadkel’s sabich in pita is legit one of the best I’ve had. The eggplant was perfectly cooked — soft, flavorful, and not too oily. The pita was fresh and held everything together without falling apart (big win). The combo of the egg, tahini, amba, and veggies was on point — balanced, tangy, and super satisfying.

It’s a simple dish done really well. You can tell they care about the ingredients. Definitely recommend if you’re craving authentic sabich...
