Smiling friendly staff and hot food quick before my flight. First I bought the cheesy gaucho. It was a bit salty but still very tasty that I went back for another. I ended up buying a spinach and cheese for the flight as well. A little over $18 for 3 empanadas is overpriced but typical for an airport. I would return if I’m ever in Miami airport again.
The dough was a little disappointing at first, not very flavorful or the best texture (though not bad) but after the first bite I was loving it because the dough wasn’t too thick and the spinach and cheese filling was generous and delicious. I recommend eating right away because they probably won’t be as good cold.
I enjoyed it. It is my usual go-to MIA eatery. I recommend the pulled pork to have some birria sauce or light bbq sauce. And some diced creamy egg to beef empanada. The spicy beef is the best for me, then cheesy gaucho which could use a little more cheese.
