Absolutely delicious food with a welcoming atmosphere… the owner David was such a kind soul to wait on us and bring us extras of condiments and offered us desert and coffee on the house for us having a pretty full meal ! This is such a cute place very close to the Marriott and Courtyard hotel. I had a soup with rice, maduros, and chicharón and o m g, it was delicious. It was so filling and exactly what I needed after a day of traveling. David was super welcoming and inviting and made our dinner super enjoyable. ¡Muchas gracias!

Pure serendipity led us to Happi Fritanga. Initially, my husband and I were going to go eat at the mall when we came across this delightful Nicaraguan restaurant that exceeded all our expectations! My husband and I both savored the Carne Asada, and every bite was a symphony of flavors that left us completely delighted. The service was nothing short of spectacular, adding an extra layer of joy to our dining experience.
From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance at Happi Fritanga radiated happiness and enthusiasm, making us feel truly welcomed and appreciated. We left with hearts full of joy and satisfied taste buds, already planning our return to indulge in more of their delectable offerings. I went in with my good friend after a marlins game as it is a perfect waking distance from the metro to my apartment. The only has recently started a daily special for $10 and let me tell you- beyond the food being top notch Nicaraguan food the serving size makes this alone a steal!! I will be coming back frequently for the daily specials and the top notch customer service the owner and his wife provide every late at night. Highly highly recommend for all those in the Dadeland area- support this mom and pop shop!

I’ve eaten twice from HappiFritanga. Being Nicaraguan, my expectations are high. The first time, ordered the FritaBurger and it was the most delicious burger I’ve ever had. The staff was very attentive and fed my family of 5 in record time. I had ordered a cafecito and my daughter spilt it before I had the time to drink it, and the staff replaced it immediately for me. Very family friendly atmosphere. I loved it so much that the next time I ordered their new picada for an event. I called ahead at 12:30pm and my large order was hot and ready for me to pick up by 1pm! The food itself was so good. The steak was soft and juicy and the pork was full of flavor. With this picada we were able to feed 4 adults and 3 kids. HappiFritanga is becoming our new favorite spot when we’re in the Dadeland area!
