Heartland is a cool concept that suffers from poor execution. The bands are only ever just average but the outdoor venue is really nicely done. Their food & drink prices are high & neither delivers. I've barely tried their entire menu by now & it's such a shame that food cooked over an open flame has so little flavor. Their churrasco steak is their best item but still somehow doesn't convey that smokey open flame goodness of meat prepared over flames. Their lamb chops were a small portion & very chewy. Their mahi was fishy and not well seasoned. Their seafood sausage was a highlight, as were the carrots and fries. The empanadas were made from some strange mushy sweet dough. We only really loved the dessert version. The grilled eggplant lacked seasoning & needed a bread accompaniment desperately. The surf & turf brought really small portions for the price but the salmon was way better here than the mahi dish. The salads are smallish and decent but the flavors again don't wow. At least on Weds u can get 1/2 price wine bottles and a few sides and enjoy the outdoors when weather is nice!

Was good it was good . the payment method via QR. but they never took my reservation and we sat where we could . I forgot my jacket and called after 10 min. and no one answered the phone. I never got it back

Based on the price point and menu I expected a different experience. The plates and cups were paper, our ribeye was overdone, and the mahi mahi smelled fishy. Our appetizer appeared after we finished our meal and the entrees arrived far apart. I’d recommend grabbing a beer and listening to the music but the food is overpriced and not very good.

The Heartland hosted the Miami Bitcoiners Meetup last night. I was the guest speaker at this event. The venue was excellent. The management treated us great and the atmosphere was perfect. Also, the food was really good. Try the skirt steak; it was incredible. Thank you again for having us!

Loved the boho ambiance, string lights, big oak trees, a talented band and good enough drinks. Friendly atmosphere. Really loved the 100% digital ordering experience. Tasty food prepared to perfection. Be back for sure.

Sad to say but this place is empty. Has so much potential but we were only two tables in the whole place. Later one when the band started playing two more tables arrived. The starters were the best, they have some jalapeño pepper plate that was delicious, basically, that's one of the stars and the service is fast. The best is that you order online and pay online.. very fast and efficiently. Loved that. That's the other star The steaks we ordered were not good.... I didn't like mine or my husband's and they were both totally different. The quality of the skirt steak was poor. And my ribeye had a weird flavor so I did not eat it .... In general, every item on the Manu is very salty, extremely salty. The only thing I eat besides the peppers I mentioned were the French fries that came with the ribeye steak and they were also extremely salty. .... My friend order a fish and steak also and it was same history, salty. So I would not recommend you to come to this place at all. I'm gonna give them another chance and try them again in 6 months or a year and I'll let you know how it goes.

Heartland is the best. I've been here probably over 15 times since it opened and always have a great time. It is such a relaxed, down-to-earth vibe. Truly a special hidden gem. The food is DELICIOUS and the live music is always awesome. I can only say such good things about this place and am very excited for my next hang at Heartland.

Such a great spot! Literally hidden on a random street this large yard has it all. Free parking, food and live music underneath the garden lights. And It's also open super late. A girlfriend of mine (who really is my personnel Yelp because shes been literally everywhere in Cali and Miami) brought me here. I loved it! Pick a seat and scan the barcode for your food and drinks, then sit back and relax to some soulful sounds of the live band while you wait for your food to be delivered. We ordered a bottle of wine and a few empanadas. Did really try anything else because we went for a night cap, but the empanadas were delicious so I can only imagine the woodfire dishes. My favorite part was definitely the "Rebel Love" band. Great sounds from their guitarist, pianist/sax player, drummer and their singer! Wow, we spent 4 hours just listening and singing along and we didn't even know it. It was just easy. A perfect night. Pleeeenty of space to meet up with a large group for a chill night and I highly recommend you do. Yo won't be disappointed .

This place is a hidden gem! After bringing visiting guests here twice now, I definitely recommend this place! All outdoors with lots of tables and couches, very beautiful trees and lights, and live music every night (usually doesn't start till around 9 pm). You order from your seat using your phone and the food and drinks come fairly quickly. In terms of food, my absolute favorite dish is the skirt steak- extremely juicy, flavorful and delicious. I have to say I was disappointed with the branzino. The fish was fresh but there were large pockets of unbelievably dense salt to the point it was almost inedible. I really couldn't appreciate the fish through the salt, so that was a real shame. The key lime pie was another disappointment because it's not really pie, it's cheesecake. The first time we ordered it we enjoyed it despite it not really being pie, but the second time we ordered it, there was absolutely no key lime flavor. It tasted like a bland cheesecake! I approached the kitchen about it and they were not surprised because apparently there was an issue with the delivery (I guess the baker forgot to add key lime). Either way they were very nice about it and offered a refund or different dessert. Despite all of this, I do think I'll be back again. I love the music, the atmosphere, and the majority of the dishes/drinks. Free parking is another perk!!

I went there for the first time and I must say I love the experience. The outdoor concept of eating, drinking, hanging out and enjoying a live band really sold me. It's not really a restaurant with five stars but I will definitely give it five stars on Yelp. The decor, the setup gives me chill vibes. I had the branzino and olives, everything was cooked to perfection and I enjoyed every single bite. There's more space in the back to walk around & explore if you want to burn all the calories that you ate but I feel that they have healthy options that won't stuff your stomach like most restaurants. I will definitely be back

Run don't walk to this spot! So cute for date night, there is string lights and a stage for a band. The live music started at 9:30 and the bad was really good! You order food via QR code on the table and The waiters bring it out to you. We had multiple appetizers including the marinated olives, hummus, shishito peppers (some were very spiced) rustic fries, and the chorimar roll. We also had the steak which was tastey with chimichurri sauce. Can't wait to go back.

Very disorganized. Ordered everything under one tab and took 25+min for 2 of the main courses to arrive. One person at table was already done eating and 2 of us were still waiting on our food. They never brought us our pineapple desert that we paid for and After We waited so long, we just left. Not the best experience.Understand some items like Lamb or steak may take longer to cook, but when you're bringing cold food to the table thats another story.

Music was cool. The place is missing something though and also charging $5.50 for a tiny empanada isn’t worth it, specially when you can get the same one anywhere in Miami for at least $2 less.
