Chef Franco is amazing at coming up with presentation, different techniques to prepare traditional ingredients, and surprise you with the highest quality meats and seafood you can find in Miami. Nicky, the CFO, mixologist, and hostess extraordinaire is there to make you feel loved and cared for. Her warmth and true dedication to customer satisfaction and experience is next level. The pair of them fully explain their concept and each course of the menu after you taste it and genuinely are interested in how you feel about their work. These people KNOW the south Florida food and tourist scene so well and are happy to advise on any other Miami must dos. The house is small seating maybe 10-12 so the intimate vibe lets you have time with your own group but also get to know others as well. You never know who you’ll run into here, maybe even a neighbor you didn’t know you had ! Genuinely so happy to have had this experience as we’ve been living in Miami for a few years and wanted something different and unique. An amazing little gem. We stepped into an intimate and beautiful restaurant and were welcomed as if we knew Nikki and Chef our whole lives. The food was like nothing I have ever eaten before, in a good way. The Chef is an artist and creates a meal that is magical. The drinks were devine and paired well with the meal. If you want interesting, delicious food in a warm, inviting setting, topped off by having an absolutely delightful EXPERIENCE, this is the place for you! Nicole extended a gracious welcome the moment the door opened and continued to impress us with her friendliness and warmth throughout our visit, a real gift to make you feel like you're already friends. The food was unique and unlike anything I've had before. It was fun having Chef Franco quiz us on what we thought we might be tasting, sometimes spot on, other times with a "wow, wasn't expecting that"! Loved our two delicious cocktails, and their house wine paired great with the food. Since this really is an intimate experience, getting to talk to the other guests felt like we'd all been invited to an exclusive dinner party. I keep thinking this was really Dining as Art. I'm still smiling...

Sharing a birthday with my sister in law we decided to have an experience. I did not fully get the concept of the restaurant when I saw it online. But we were pleasantly surprised when we got there. This small little gem has so much character, just like the chef and his wife. Not only was the food delicious, the presentation was beautiful, and the close conversation with the chef about his inspiration of each roll was extravagant. This is definitely something you should experience. 100% recommend this place.
The food was as delicious as it was beautiful! As I enjoyed each course I readily noticed the thoughtfulness and quality ingredients behind Chef Franco's dishes.The drinks were also superb. Although most of the packages come with the house wine (which is exquisite), I recommend adding a drink or two. The ones I had with my package were very clean, fresh, and well-balanced.Not only were the food and drinks great, but the vibe created by Nicki and Chef Franco was amazing. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, the atmosphere was energetic, yet not over the top. This was an incredible experience that I'm looking forward to having again.

I cant take the credit for finding HOFP, my wife did that and raved about it after seeing an episode of "Check please" on PBS. I knew then that this was the place to celebrate her birthday with a special evening. And special it was! Franco and Nicky are great hosts, who between them make remarkable dishes and unique cocktails, while also regaling guests with witty repartee and fascinating stories, especially the Chef's dish origin stories. The other treat for us was interacting with our charming fellow diners, at our "dinner party". Everything was incredible. The food was fabulous. We went for the 6 course taster, as it was not clear before we got there how big the portions would be, but on reflection the 8 course may have been a better option. Whatever you do don't miss out on the cocktails or mocktails! Due to the wine and cocktails its probably best to let your taxi or ride share take the strain. Don't be put off by the fact it is a bit away from the beaten path, but parking is limited. And enjoy it, the experience is unique and magical. We are looking forward to coming back!
