People hype this place up so much but it is trash! Extremely greasy and unflavored meat. I ordered the steak and onions with cheese and my bread is soaked in grease! I will never go there again, their subs are so expensive, and yet it tastes so bad. Nobody greets you when you come in, the atmosphere is not friendly or welcoming at all.

My favorite sub spot in Miami! I highly recommend a Chicken all the way with honey mustard. The owner was in the grill today. I learned that this is the first Hungry Bear and he opened it in 1979.

Hungry Bear is a little hole in the wall in Kendall where they cook a great sub with fresh ingredients right in front of you for a decent price.
Simple ingredients, simple food, incredible flavors. I did not give a 5/5 on the food bc the chicken was a bit dry, other than that? Everything is great across the board.
Subs are always delicious. Been coming here since I was a kid. Prices have hiked up the few years but still worth it

I got a chicken honey mustard sub. Asked for Light mayo and this is what I got. A sloppy unseasoned sub that just tasted like honey, mustard, and mayo. I bought three subs for $65 . Never again.
