Went here on a Wednesday night and had a fantastic dinner. Not crowded at all, got a seat right away. Staff was amazing, especially Adriano who was always attentive and had great recommendations. All the staff had great recommendations too. Had the raw calamari 🦑 with chili sauce to start. Didn't think I would like it since I usually eat fried calamari. But it was great! Had the beef tenderloin and seafood fried rice after. Had a great cocktail 🍹. Finished the dinner with a nice dessert wine, chocolate mousse and sorbet, all recommended by staff. Fantastic place for Chinese food and some nice cocktails.

Am a local and will always recommend Hutong for anything ranging from lunch, to happy hour to dinner. Recently went for the Brickell Night deal which is UNBEATABLE. Thank you targeted ads! As always, the service was off the charts- but Wander was particularly exceptional. He was personable, professional, attentive, and just an overall pleasant person to be around. Kudos to him and the rest of the EXCEPTIONAL staff. It’s hard to come by good service in Miami and the staff at Hutong raise the bar in every way. - The apps 9/10 - Drinks 10/10 - Sides 10/10 - Entrees 7/10 (saucy) - Service 20/10

This was the WORST experience EVER!!!
PAID almost 1k for subpar service, the buss girl was more attentitive than the actual server but some how we're forced to pay a $150 service fee when in fl you can decline the 20% if you dont feel you recieved the service WELL WE DID NOT!!!
My son chose this place for his 17th birthday even though the waitress asked up frpnt would the checks be seperate somehpw a group of strangers was forced to pool their money together just because the waitress wanted a higher gratuity.
We eat out all the time so yhe fee was the issue it was the service when we explained everyone has their own payment method again she said could split yhe vheck in 4 ways like girl what these are strangers give everyone their own chevk even though they was clearly tryna pay and requested their own check to simmer out confusion all these asian men came from in back like we wasnt tryna pay whivh made it very uncomfortable being i was still eating and only ome person was trying to leave but vouldnt get her check further more
We brough a 200 custome vake and was tolf in order to eat it there it would be an additional $10 per slice these people is nuts already paying 1k and want an extra 130 for the cake we brought not to mention we explained it couldnt be in heated area needed to be in cool place or on the table they didnt losten so when the cake came out it was melted and ruined didnt even get any phoyos
Nobody sung happy birthday, no dj, no dancers and this was the whole reason he chose this spot.. we wouldve had a better time at benihanas amd actually felt welcomed ams had no problem getting seperate checks the dragonfruit drink was good but i wont be coming back my son has a lot of social media followers and they aas doing a review for social of the experience these people deserve the hpnest brutal review bc if a grouo of 17,18,and 19 year olds say what service was they paying for that is a problem the party sitting beside us had the same zerver come to them 6 times until i had to asl the boy who filled the water cup up for the server since it waa an issue when i asked him for a straw , out of all the olaces we've been in brickell the experience here waa THE WORST i prfer quality and eventhough the place looks nice the way we was treated as a paying consumer was terrible i will take my hard earned money else where no wonder the establisemt was empty not evem an apology for ruining his cake these people is a joke!!!

The food was good and the flavors tasted authentic. We especially enjoyed the mapo tofu and the eggplant dishes. However, for a restaurant at this price point, the level of professionalism was disappointing. They served multiple dishes in plates and bowls that had visible cracks on them — at least three on our table. They also overlooked something that is very important culturally. In Chinese tradition, using cracked dishware is considered bad luck and disrespectful to the food being served. Although the food was tasty, the overall dining experience did not meet the standards expected from a fine dining restaurant.
