I live in the building. I like to come here sometimes alone to enjoy the view and the lunch. The staff is professional and the food is consistent.

One of the best restaurants in Miami, definitely the best Italian food. We were marveled by every single plate. I ordered fettuccini Alfredo and it was incredible, recommendable with chicken.
The service was impeccable, very friendly and inviting.
The only thing that put us off was that there was quite a lot of noise but it was not a major problem. We were so amazed by the rest of it that we didn’t care much about it.
100% recommended.

This place was amazing and the staff was attentive, helpful and friendly. I flew my boyfriend here for his birthday. We stayed one night in Miami, until we left for or cruise the next day. The food was amazing and the location was breathtaking. This restaurant sits on the water. The ambiance and atmosphere were incredibly beautiful. I rate this place 10 out of 10. Will definitely recommend and we’ll be back soon.

Dinner at Il Gabbiano in Miami was a refined experience with great service and a classic Italian menu. We started with flavorful Clams Casino, followed by excellent Pasta with Truffles—rich, aromatic, and perfectly cooked. The Supreme di Pollo al Calvados was well-made but a little heavy for my taste, while the vegetable side was fresh and nicely seasoned. Dessert was a solid Crème Brûlée, and service throughout the night was attentive without being overbearing. The total came to about $250 for two people, including tax and tip—pricey, but fitting for the quality, portions, and waterfront setting.

An Italian experience in Miami. Food fantastic. Service was superb. Short walk from the Intercontinental Hotel. Clam appetizer was the best. The orange dessert was a special treat.

Really no good experience, everything is precey, a wine of $85, very low quality in normal store is $5.00, only views are good. I never will be there.

This afternoon Mothers Day I had dinner with my wife at IL Gabbiano and as usual it was an awesome exceptional experience from the unparalleled service & food quality that no other fine restaurant offers in Miami. You have five waiters and bus boys constantly standing around you that all you do is look at them and they come over. That actually happened today I looked at one and he came over and I told him and I actually said to him I just looked at you and you knew & he said yes sir we are here to serve you! we eat our daily and that other restaurants you have to chase down the waiters. Don’t think because I’m saying this they asked me to write a review actually truthfully none of them did. I’m doing this on my own because it was such an enjoyable experience. This restaurant is my wife’s favorite and we all know there’s a few thousand restaurants in Miami! So much for the superb service now the food quality I don’t even know how to describe it. The tuna tartare was as always, exceptional, the bone in veal parmagiana (see photos) is the best tasting veal I’ve ever had. The veal is soft, white, tender other places you look at the meat and it’s dark not good quality. The tomato sauce definitely homemade and the cheese well It actually had a good smell when it was coming over being served. It’s my favorite Italian dish I ordered at all the restaurants we eat out and no one makes it like this place! This is the Best fine Italian Restaurant in Miami!

Been coming to this place for years and lately it has only gotten better, a breath taking water view with expectational Italian cuisine. Drinks keep flowing when you're at the bar from Kristian and Luigi.

Truly one of my favorite meals in Miami. I can’t believe I haven’t left a review yet as we’ve been here many times but everything is always impeccable. Gino runs a tight ship and Roman has been our main waiter a few times and never misses a beat. He never hovers but is always attentive; the 3 other waiters on the table always make sure everything is clean and water is stocked as well. You sit down and are presented with beautiful bruschetta with a bread basket that has some of the best breadsticks I’ve ever had; they have a nice kick too which we all like. This is paired with some high quality balsamic and olive oil and parm as well. Then we always start with the baked clams because they are always cooked to perfection and have a great flavor, make sure to wipe up that sauce with the bread! In terms of entrees, I’ve never had a dish I did not like as they are all very good. They have a good selection of Veal entrees as well as pastas and chicken and nothing disappoints. I like their Carbonara because some places in Miami overload it with peas but not here thank god. I’ve also had their Branzino a few times and it is very good. You have to finish off the meal with an espresso and there is an array of beautiful desserts to select from. We always get the Chocolate Soufflé and one of the sorbets that come in an orange. Great presentation with everything and great flavor it just always hits the spot. It’s around $100 a person but so worth it. The location is beautiful too as you can watch boats go by in the water and either sit inside or out. Parking is Valet only FYI
