Il Gabbiano is so good that it’s the kind of place you’d rather keep secret. Not flashy, elegant simplicity, but warm and inviting. Not crazy loud like so many Miami restaurants: a place where a table of six can actually hear each other. White tablecloths. Old school jacketed waiters. And drop dead delicious food. Old school. One of the best restaurants in Miami, definitely the best Italian food. We were marveled by every single plate. I ordered fettuccini Alfredo and it was incredible, recommendable with chicken.
The service was impeccable, very friendly and inviting.
The only thing that put us off was that there was quite a lot of noise but it was not a major problem. We were so amazed by the rest of it that we didn’t care much about it.

This place was amazing and the staff was attentive, helpful and friendly. I flew my boyfriend here for his birthday. We stayed one night in Miami, until we left for or cruise the next day. The food was amazing and the location was breathtaking. This restaurant sits on the water. The ambiance and atmosphere were incredibly beautiful. I rate this place 10 out of 10. Will definitely recommend and we’ll be back soon.
