I found it very very over priced.$18.00 for boiled plantian, which is mofongo. Plantain is .50¢ a pound at the store . Two mofongo dinners, four beers came to $79.00.We ordered the bacalao fritters which were wafer thin and no fish at all. They were just slightly fish flavored deep fried batter with some chopped greens which l think was green onion, and thats all. That was $9.00 We ordered the fried yuca ,it was yuca paste that was fried .We ordered tostones and that was only disc shaped fried mofongo while it is plantain it is not the same thing.
If you're looking for Puerto Rican food skip this place .l won't be back. Puerto Rican food is either meh or this place is meh. Sorry thats my opinion.

Puerto Rican restaurant
I ordered to go. The restaurant is expanding so they are limiting their service with tables outside the establishment. Been going here for many years now and I know when they open the doors again, it will be amazing. Their staff, service, and food is delicious. Best pasteles, besides mine 😊 that you can eat.

They closed early after I called them and they said they would be open. What waste of a drive, time, and gas.

Guess they’re renovating so as of right now you’re limited to outside seating only, plus I noticed that you have a limited menu compared to what’s usually on it.

My visit is somewhat complexing to me. While the food and my waitress were wonderful I feel a bit slighted due to I guess the manager or owner greeted everyone except my table. Not sure why. I listened to him talk about the renovations and upgrades that are coming but he never shared that with me and my wife. Only outside sitting was available but it was doable because the weather was cooperative for South Florida. I won’t give a negative rating due to what I feel was off putting. I been to this establishment before and despite my questions I will still recommend it.

Excessively grease, awfully tasting, cold... certainly not representative of our Puertorican food.

In this restaurant the best waitress you can find is Laura. She is amazing, and the food is great also.

Terrible experience. We decided to go to support Latin food. However, experience was stressful and disappointing rather than joyful. It seems they are doing renovations and are trying to keep the restaurant running still, understandable… I guess. But why would you do that if you are able to upkeep with a good dinning experience. Food wasn’t the best either. Will not be going back.
