Another "I stumbled upon" place since my recent move to Kendall Schmendal. This is by far the best Jamaican food in all of South Florida.....hands down!!!!!

I hate posting negative reviews, but here goes... I went to island restaurant for breakfast a couple months ago and was severely disappointed in the quality of the food. The ackee and saltfish I ordered was cold, bland, overly salty, and swimming in oil. Most of it ended up in the garbage... If I wasn't starving after a hectic workout I wouldn't have eaten it at all.

Every SINGLE item on menu is delicious but the Curry Goat and Oxtail are the winners.
Tried their stew peas and brown stew chicken and it was AMAZING! The food was that good after tasting it in the car I went back in for another order of stew peas.
