I was just about to give up on Jamaican food in Miami.This was the 4th place I have tried and finally they got it right!I initially wanted curry chicken cause I have given up on trying to find some good oxtails.I saw curry oxtails on the menu and figured I try that and omg so good ,tender,and flavorful.I cant wait to try something else,you guys definitely have a regular now .And another thing the atmosphere was so postive.Highly recommend.

Excellent! Got the jerk wings and curry chicken patty and both were really good! Even the sauces !! Although I did wish there was some actual jerk sauce rather than just the seasoning but still enjoyed it !

I tiny jem tucked away in a small storefront.Most things made to order right before your eyes.ALL FROM SCRATCH and I mean it cause I had to waite awhile for my order to be prepared. The ingredients are of the highest quality as I questioned the owner's daughter where her fish was sauced.No tilapia hiding for something else. Comes from a well-known fishery in the Keys daily.I clutched my heart in astonishment at the thought of a business not trying to ring the last bit of profit with inferior ingredients and leftover remicroved and pre-cooked chemicals. Their jamaican patties LET ME REMIND YOU MADE RIGHT IN THE BACK are sold before they come out the overn. I sweare to you!!!no lie!!! Did I have ONE?Did I have TWO ore even THREE??? ....No sar.I polished off FOUR!!! They also carry a small selection of Caribbean breads and cakes sodas and groceries. Got myself my Matukes pepper sauce and cheifs curry at an extreamly reasonable price. This is more a carryout than eat-in place.
I just tried the Brown Stew Chicken here, and wow, it was so tasty! The spice was just right, and it totally reminded me of my grandma’s cooking. The place feels super cozy and welcoming, like you’re visiting family. Everyone was so friendly, especially Shereena with her bright, contagious smile that made my day. Honestly, this is the best Jamaican spot on 88th Street in Kendall. I can’t wait to come back!

When I come here, I always feel like I stepped back into Half Way Tree. The patties are baked in-house, and they are so delish! Every plate of food, especially the curry goat, is melt-in-your-mouth goodness.
