Currently sitting here, while on vacation… Best Jamaican food I have ever had. Meat seasoned and smoked to perfection. Jerk Sauce is the absolute cherry on top. 10/10 #RECOMMENDED
Just returned from a wonderful meal at this charming little restaurant. I don't remember the last time that I finished every bit of a meal, but I cleaned my plate completely. The waitress was lovely and attentive. Super reasonable prices too!
Hubby and I were visiting some friends in Boca Raton and we went back and forth the night before on where we would get lunch the next day. They at some point bought up this place and since we are always on the hunt for good curry goat we decided to try this place based on their recommendations. Now it helps to know a few locals better yet a bunch of foodies. We got two orders of curry goat because one wasn’t enough ( we all were being way too gluttonous ), jerk pork, and ox tail. The owner knew our friends and was like oh you are back. The hospitality by the owner was what we always appreciate by local businesses. We stay down and there were meatballs on our table, we order drinks and now their is a bowl of chickpeas as well . Oh it’s time to order and get the main meal here we go a delicious light mango salad to start . Oh you have a rice sensitivity no worries here are delicious fried plantains and extra roti. Yes, we were very happy and satiated by that afternoon. We had to walk and get coffee just survive the lunch coma. Hubby was dreaming about the jerk pork even as we were getting ready for bed in the evening.
Food was fantastic and we loved the spices in the dishes. We picked the spicy dishes but they have mild ones as well. Next time I will definitely try the sangria!
I read about this place online, and the reviews were so good my wife and I decided to try it. We were not disappointed! She ordered curry fish and I had oxtail pepper pot. Both were amazing!!! Since our first visit, we have returned four times. Tried cracked conch, oxtail stew, jerk platter, and their dal (bean soup). To say that everything was excellent would be an understatement. This has become hands-down our favorite restaurant in all of Florida! Every time we try something new on the menu it amazes us. They are consistently excellent, blending flavors in amazing ways. The folks who own the place are from Guyana, so all of the dishes are Caribbean. Jerk meatball appetizers are served before you order: Amazing!
