A very average pizzeria, nothing special. The pizza is expensive for the size of the slice. It's a one-time place. If it weren't for how famous it became thanks to Spider-Man, it would be just another run-down pizzeria. Honestly, I won't be back, and I don't recommend it at all. The atmosphere is New York-style, which at least lives up to its name.

As a New Yorker, I had to see if Joe’s Pizza in Wynwood lived up to its NYC reputation. The price is the same as back home, so naturally, expectations were high. When judging a pizzeria, the regular cheese slice is the true test—it’s the quintessential benchmark, no frills, just dough, sauce, and cheese.

Let’s start with the positives: the sauce and cheese were solid. The balance was right, the cheese had a nice melt, and the sauce had that familiar tangy-sweet flavor. But the crust? Major letdown. It lacked the crisp, chew, and slight char that makes a great NYC slice. Instead, it felt off—too soft, almost doughy, and not structured enough to hold up. That signature foldable-yet-sturdy base was missing.

Joe’s has the potential to be great, but if they want to compete with the original, they need to fix the crust. Right now, it’s a decent slice, but it doesn’t compare to what you’d get in NYC. 3/5 stars—good, but not the real deal.

I had slices there twices..Very good both time. Ive had take out 2 times. Both times it was probably the worst pie i've ever had. Completely falling apart as if a 2 year old made it. Don't even bother ordering the square, I don't even know what to say. again dining in for a slice was pretty good. Although one of the times I ordered a slice, apparently they forgot about me. So when I asked about the slice.. the jerk off putting them in the oven gave me a huge attitude..very doucheee!

It lacks a little thickness. But it's spectacular
That is my own opinion, it does not define that the pizza is not well made and even less that it is not as good as it is.

Get famous and...
The service is bad, bad attention from the staff...
The pizza is nothing to envy of the average... it's not even outstanding.

Open late which is great and one of the best slices in Miami. Not AS good as the a real New York slice but very adequate. Line was out the door and pizza took longer than expected but very friendly staff

It’s just not good. It’s not crispy. Tasteless Falls apart. Crust is horrible. I ate the cheese & threw away the rest. Save the trip. Go to Miami slice since it’s worth the higher price.

Extremely disappointed in the quality decrease. Pizza barely had sauce on it. Still annoyed by the bland and hard pizza slices I got!!

In the same place, the workers respond badly.

This Pizza used to be great but lately they have gotten really cheap in terms of the amount of cheese they even put on their $40 dollar pizzas- they should be ashamed.

Decent pizza, overhyped so it was a bit disappointing.
