A good restaurant to try the local Cuban food. Mostly day laborers come here but you do see occasional tourists who walk from the nearby hotels. The menu is simple but every plate is flavorful and prepared with heart. The restaurant is very aged and run-down but the staff compensate it with a warm smile.

I was so surprised of the service and food. The lady was so welcoming and accommodating. Simple food but much better than most fancy places i've been to the last couple days. I had their cuban sandwich and coffee which was both delicious.

Great hidden gem - amazing Cubano sandwiches. Glad we ventured out to find it!

Food tasted cheap as could be. Will never come back here đŻ very very disappointed. Tasted bland as could be. Thought food out here was full of flavor..... took one bite and immediately said I want something else and she wanted me to pay for that nasty cuban sandwich. Instantly turned my stomach. That meat was no good! Flies everywhere inside the restaurant

I had masitas de puerco with white rice/black beans/yuca encebollada. Pork was tender and well seasoned. Portions were okay. The customer service by Rosa was phenomenal. She is awesome. Coming back!

Food was excellent and prices more than reasonable. Service was fast and staff very friendly.

Stayed at the Even Hotel and Joeâs was walking distance. As others have mentioned, the atmosphere is a little sketchy but the hotel receptionists said that itâs a local favorite so thought weâd risk it.
The waitress couldnât understand us/speaking English well, but there was a friend of the owner at a table and she asked him to help interpret the menu for us. We werenât familiar with the menu items.
We ordered the roasted chicken and the chicken steak. Both were very good. Generous portions and good value. Next time, weâd share a meal. The food came quickly.
The food very delicious so kind service I recommend 100%

Quintessential Cuban dive by all the airport hotels. Live a little :)
Just had beer but at 4 bucks can't beat the price. There is a 3 percent surcharge for credit

It's a cafeteria so I'm not claiming 5 stars but the service is a disaster. In the end the waitress told us âare you going to leave me a tip or whatâ obviously we were going to leave because we work with service and we depend on the tip but what a nerve to ask like that. First and last time. There were also ants on the table.
