I had masitas de puerco with white rice/black beans/yuca encebollada. Pork was tender and well seasoned. Portions were okay. The customer service by Rosa was phenomenal. She is awesome. Coming back!
Food was excellent and prices more than reasonable. Service was fast and staff very friendly.
Went in and they said it closed at 3 but they were closed at 1:02pm
Very good food
Stayed at the Even Hotel and Joe’s was walking distance. As others have mentioned, the atmosphere is a little sketchy but the hotel receptionists said that it’s a local favorite so thought we’d risk it.
The waitress couldn’t understand us/speaking English well, but there was a friend of the owner at a table and she asked him to help interpret the menu for us. We weren’t familiar with the menu items.
We ordered the roasted chicken and the chicken steak. Both were very good. Generous portions and good value. Next time, we’d share a meal. The food came quickly.
The food very delicious so kind service I recommend 100%

Quintessential Cuban dive by all the airport hotels. Live a little :)
Just had beer but at 4 bucks can't beat the price. There is a 3 percent surcharge for credit

It's a cafeteria so I'm not claiming 5 stars but the service is a disaster. In the end the waitress told us “are you going to leave me a tip or what” obviously we were going to leave because we work with service and we depend on the tip but what a nerve to ask like that. First and last time. There were also ants on the table.
A genuine little local joint, walking distance from the Radisson Red and other nearby hotels. Excellent food, modest prices, in an industrial neighborhood, about a five minute walk from the hotel. (Ignore Google maps, and just walk directly down the busy street adjacent to the hotel.)

We walked from EVEN hotel. It took us about 10 mins to get there. Once we saw it we almost turned around because it looks like a run down hole in the wall. My kids were scared to go in. Since it had good reviews, we decided to give it a go. Everything is in spanish but has pictures to go along with the dishes so you get the idea. The prices were reasonable for the portions you get. Our food came out one at a time once it was finished cooking which was fine because it was nice and hot! We all loved our food. I would recommend going! Don't be afraid of first impressions!

I asked for a buttered bread. They call it tostada. Two pieces of bread and some butter. The problem???They wanted to charge me $4.30 so they lost a good customer for being greedy and price gougers!!!!! That's ridiculous!!!!!!!

Cuban specialties. If your own Spanish isn't enough, friendly customers can help. Places outside.
