Was looking for an Italian place in the Wynwood area and this one looked to be okay so we decided to try it.

This place was basically empty when we walked in at 8pm. Service was obviously very quick and everyone working was very nice.

We got the calamari for an appetizer. It was pretty good. The sauce was supposed to be spicy tomato sauce and there was absolutely no spice to it but it was still really good.

Beautiful place with several seating options (garden, terrace and indoors) depending on the weather and your choice. Good music and atmosphere. Spectacular location: next to Wynwood Walls, which made us stop for lunch.
We ordered a very tasty steak tartare (only a very small size), the Carbonara was average: with a lot of seasoning, and they also use bacon steak instead of pork (which made it lose some of the flavor). The Parmigiana with Bolognese pasta was delicious....

After a great golf cart tour of the Wynwood district, Joey's was a great spot for lunch. The staff was pleasant but not overly attentive. We enjoyed the calamari appetizer with tomato sauce. My husband and I both had spaghetti. Mine included meatballs and a dollop of ricotta. The meatballs were really tasty. The ricotta topper was a nice addition.
