Alex is the man!! Brought my SG with a chipped horn and dinged fret. If you didn’t know, you’d never be able to tell. Alex set it up so nice, playing better than ever. Thanks Alex!!!

Not good....they didn't fix my guitar they didn't even try .....I think it's a parking scam ....you have to park in their garage $20 a day or an hour I'm not sure I was there twice $20 to drop off my guitar and $20.... 2 months later when I picked it up only to find they hadn't done anything ...why fix it when you're making $40 so far free ....I noticed there were at least 200 cars parked in their 8 level parking facility that's $4000 a dayIt appears to be a parking lot scam .... I know this sounds like a hit piece....I wish I could give it a good review ....I have nothing to work with other than total inefficiency...he's out lived the "legend" and the myth is that he's a luthier....all I know is he's like a licenced practitioner with no bed side manner .... Sincerely,The Bride of Frankenstein
I've taken two guitars to Alex Jones this year and am about to bring him a third. Absolute pro. I wouldn't trust my guitars to anyone else in town (and believe me, before I met Alex I tried just about everyone!) Super knowledgeable. Fast. Inexpensive. And such a nice guy! His shop is a little hard to find (no signage outside) but trust the address, he's there! Call before you go just to make sure he is available. Definitely worth a trip across town if you are not in the area. Highly recommended.
Larry, the luthier who works weekends at Walt Grace, did an excellent job fixing the cracked bridge of my elderly Guild acoustic and setting it up to play beautifully.
Alex is more than a Luthier, he is a wizard of tone and craftmanship! Before knowing Alex I was struggling finding a good luthier in South Florida. Finally I took the chance and OMG! He is THE guy! I don't allow anyone else to work on my guitars, from my vintage ones to my budget guitars, Alex makes magic with them. If you have vintage guitar, he is the guy! and if you have an affordable guitar to make it sound like a pro, he is also the guy!
Real professionals and high quality service! I brought my guitar for a nut replacement and a setup. The job was done so well, I can't put the guitar down, it plays better than ever.
The service is great, but the real treat is the eye candy, the boys in the pro audio department are so cute I could just gobble them up! I bought a PA system for my Desperate Houswive's trivia night, and the salesman Brian had my vote for the next American Guydoll! Wish this place was full service!
I am consistently impressed with the Jonesified At Walt Grace Vintage Team/Family with their hard work; perseverance; wise but compassionate dealings, constantly considering the best interest of the musician; and always being generous with giving the most helpful information to those who enter their doors.
They said they couldn't repair a simple Gibson Joe Perry Custom Shop neck crack

The place is beautiful and the staff are super friendly and helpful.
The amazing combination of the owners passions, cars and electric guitars, along with a nice cafe wonderfully managed by passioned kids
Had the good fortune of entrusting the repair of two of my guitars to Alex. They both had electronic problems and set up issues. The first guitar is a Guild Starfire II that has special meaning as it was my first guitar a present from my father over 50 years ago. The second is a Parker Fly. The company was sold and I was concerned that obtaining parts would be difficult. Communication was great and I was informed of problems encountered and solutions. In both instances Alex was able to “improvise†and make necessary repairs with existing part and were both setup to perfection. The guitars were ready the following day after drop off. Wow!! They both play and sound great. This was such a nice experience; Alex is a very nice person and I was very much impressed by his professionalism and craftsmanship. I can't say enough good things.
Friendly and excellent service from a true professional. Highly recommended.
