WOW! We got married in Miami on 11/11/23 as a destination wedding in Miami coming from NYC. When we first contacted AJW, Aileen welcomed us with open arms. She was kind, attentive and answered every one of our needs. Throughout the planning process we had a LOT of changes to our proposal, but Aileen and Isabel didn’t flinch. Our guests were blown away by the attention to detail, the service, the FOOD (omg the food), the creativity of the way their apps and desserts are served. I can go on forever. If you are looking for a true luxury catering experience (and yes it is an experience!) in South Florida, do not hesitate. Our venue was not an ideal layout for a catering company (and 130 guests) but they worked extremely hard to get it right, and they executed to perfection. Thank you to Aileen, Isabel and all the wonderful staff at AJW for making our wedding day a dream come true!!!

I don’t have enough words to thank Aileen Roxane Villar, the Venue Manager for Joy Wallace, in charge of Douglas Entrance the Venue. Everything was beyond my dreams. The food was spectacular. There is not one guest that didn’t say that. The staff blew my mind, their kindness and how they always had a smile on their faces made Us and our Guests feel welcome.Aileen is very professional, easy to work with and was so patient throughout all the planning and executing. Always willing to help and explain everything to us as many times as needed. She worked with our wedding planner, and both, with their magnificent staff, put together something magical.

Joy Wallace is amazing! Top notch! Our guests raved about the food at our wedding. The staff was great too. But, it was more than that. Aileen worked with me at every step from the first call. She really understood my vision and challenging requests. She was great to work with from day one- very kind, communicative and thorough. I was in the event business for years and understood that what we what we wanted wasn’t easy, but they pulled it all off to every detail. We had a plated dinner, with some food served table side, some family style and a ton of amazing hors d’oeuvres, 3 beautiful stations plus a dessert station with petite fors, and passed late night bites. All of it was excellent & well timed. But they also jumped through hoops to accommodate our requests at an offsite venue that wasn’t easy to work in. There’s so much more to selecting your caterer than just the quality of the food. The food was great, but it was also the presentation and the stellar execution of it all. Joy Wallace did a fabulous job. Thank you, especially to Aileen, Rachel, Ray, and the entire team at Joy Wallace. Highly recommend!!

I want to thank Paula Gooden for taking the time to speak with us this weekend regarding the possiblities for our daughters wedding. Everything is fresh and we do not have a confirmed date but Paula is a great representative to share her knowledge and be the spokesperson for the company. If the Vizacaya venue works out for us we will use Joy Wallace Catering.

Everything was perfect! Luciana (not sure on spelling ?) led an amazing team. They attended to our every wish and went the extra mile to ensure the meals were ready on time. With the fluid schedule and running over then early, they handled it with a can do attitude! Everyone complemented the food quality, taste and presentation. Especially the little mousse cups – to die for!Thank you to you and the team for making me look great to my client.

At first thought everything would get handled properly but 2 days before our wedding the dance floor was removed from our venue and we were left having to change venues 2 days before our wedding. We did not get any money back although we did not use the venue and had to pay out of pocket for a 2nd venue. This cost us a lot of money and could have been prevented. I feel that some money should have been returned for not using the venue at all and hopefully someone reaches out about this matter. But we were left with a very bad taste in our mouth. How it’s our fault that they didn’t have the staff to put the dance floor back on that we never asked to be removed is beyond me. We had to pay for other peoples mistakes and that’s not right.

Absolutely the best service I've experienced since the pandemic started (and even beyond), and that is coming from an events manager! The taste, quality, and presentation of the food is beautiful and surprising, and the staff are a complete joy to work with, from beginning to end.
