Rotten vegetables with tremendous stench and disgusting chicken steaks

It is sold as a Cuban restaurant but the food is not Cuban, I ordered fried beef and it had nothing to do with the real thing, it was just a piece of half-ripped sirloin, the meat was not even well shredded and then apparently they put it on the grill. They fry it as the real fried cow should be, and the breaded steak left a lot to be desired. It really wasn't good. If the chef is Cuban, at least in Cuba he never cooked. The service is good, but if you want Cuban food, that's not the place. because I don't think the chef is Cuban

The atmosphere of the place is gloomy and not very hygienic. The prices are very cheap but they do not have good quality. After eating a tortilla there I got sick to my stomach.

So first I tried the steak with white rice and red beans. Rice was perfectly cooked buttery and salty. Red beans were cooked perfectly and were delicious. Unsure if they used any seasoning but since I don't usually like beans I'm guessing they did. The steak was small but delicious and tender, for $6 I'm not complaining because the plate filled me up. I also tried the fried pies I tried the chicken and ground beef ones. Way to dry and not enough flavor for my taste. And lastly I tried there dessert type pastry guava and cream cheese. If you don't like guava don't try it but if you do like guava this dessert is an absolute must!!!! Very economical because on all this all I spent was $10.50. And my food was not microwaved and was hot when I got back to my truck parked down the street. I would recommend this place. Atmosphere was a typical of a small family owned restaurant. Smelled delicious walking up to and inside.
