Unfortunately all the bakery's I have tried in the last year all have missed the mark on a Cuban Staple Pastelito De carne,this place is no different I don't know what kind of picadillo they are using but it's BAD! Now the Empanadas have the Correct great tasting picadillo this Pastelito does not and its a triangle Nit Round and this purchase they were Burned and hard no excuse this needed to be Thrown out and not sold,Croquetas were pretty good chicken &ham ?and the puddin de on was tasty,overall 3 stars total.

I have always liked the Karla cafeteria in Doral and this one in Westchester but today something didn't go well, I ordered a croquette and a spinach empanada, the good croquette but I had to return the empanada because it was very fried and looked enchmbada .in fat, and the other one that fried me was worse coming out. the fat, it's a shame because I went to that place frequently

I went to Google Map and searched for this Bakery in the location near Flagler. I didn't realize it, but I placed the order for pickup at the Karla Bakery on 40. A very nice girl called me to confirm the order and that I was going to pick it up at that location. When we arrived everything was ready and they were very attentive. Everyone at home ate a delicious breakfast. The Mamey shake was delicious with a lot of mamey flavor as it should be. The croquette prepared excellent. The crunchy cupcakes and the warm coconut one are my favorite.

I ordered an uber eats order. It clearly said 3 croquettes and a toast extra butter. They have me a toast without extra b8tter and added 4 croquettes to my toast. I didn't order that. My order was completely I correct. I plan on going today with my receipt to ask if they can give me the correct order I paid $23 for.

This is a busy spot, there was 1 very attentive server, Yunaisis at the time that I was there and she acknowledged each customer as they walked in even though she was tending to other customers. She’s very polite and does her best to prepare and fill every order in a timely manner. Between 12 noon and 4:00 PM (closing time) it’s a 1 person shift so if you’re expecting to be in & out in a jiffy it’s probably not going to happen. Awesome pastries, croquetas, sandwiches, shakes and of course “cafecito”. I will definitely be returning, wish they had one closer to home.

Parking: Parking lot is busy, business is part of a very popular strip mall making parking a bit challenging at times.
