My wife and I had our first visit on October 2nd and had a frustrating experience with their payment system.
I paid for two 16-oz drinks using my iPhone’s Apple Pay. The terminal showed a “requires authorization” message, and I didn’t receive any charge notification. We waited about 20 minutes, checking my Apple Card app several times, and nothing appeared.
I was worried about leaving without paying, so we spoke with Maria, the kavatender, who checked her system and confirmed she didn’t see the payment. She kindly gave us the payment device again, and I tried to pay once more — this time, the payment appeared to go through.
About 30 minutes later, both payments showed up on our end. We decided to drive back to show proof of the double charge. When I returned, it was the first time I met Alek, the manager. Both he and Maria were polite and helpful, but they struggled for a while to revert one of the payments. I also offered to accept the refund in cash, if possible. The manager called the owner, who said he would handle the refund remotely and that it would be processed within 24 hours.
It’s now October 9th, and I still haven’t received any refund. Both transactions have cleared.
I appreciate the team’s honesty and effort, but this situation is being handled poorly — especially after acknowledging they have ongoing WiFi problems.

Very friendly and relaxed place to chill and cool down. Lots of flavors and strains to choose from. I am still waiting for any type of effect even if I had two of these drinks but I never feel anything. However, lots of people came in to order and walk around with the kava in their hands afterwards.
