Amazing time with a party of 8. Family style delivered big time! Food and service were top notch!
Our reservation was at 9:30. We stood in line to check in for 10 mins before realizing people were crowding the host stand because they were waiting to be sat for reservations. We were not sat until 10:50pm. They did not accommodate us by offering something off the bill. 10-15% would've been a nice gesture. They did bring out cold food twice. However, our server was good. The ambiance was nice.
I waited 60min to be assigned a table. The area of the table was wet by the rain. They refused to assign me to a different location. I am Not coming back to that place
Komodo has always been one of our favorites but the Miami location has gone downhill ! When you are a party of 2 they stick you in a corner crowded with other tables. We were so stuffed in that the waitstaff bumped into my chair numerous times. Some of the food was really good the rest was just okay, not the experience you are paying for Our server was excellent ! We were just at the Las Vegas location and it blows Miami away ! They still have the attitude of who they are in Miami but they don't back it up ! Very disappointing.
The food is delicious especially the dumplings! They were pretty amazing. We had three different sushi rolls too and all were excellent. The service was very good. I truly don't understand any negative reviews on this restaurant. I've only been to it twice and loved it both times. Any time I'm in Miami I will go there.
Its an absolute joke. the place is like a haunted house . the food is way overpriced and very low quality . the service is horrible . people not friendly at all. i wont recommend it to anyone . the food not authentic at all.
Katie the manager was extremely dismissive and not very accommodating when our food was delayed by an hour.
Brittany, our server and all the others assisting were so amazing and attentive. Excellent food and service!
The food was delicious. The service staff were friendly. However, the staff rushed our dinner as if there was an imminent threatened implosion of the premises. The restaurant was practically empty (only 3 tables were occupied at 7:30 at night) but every dish was rushed onto the table with no consideration for the experience or enjoyment of the diner or quite literally time to properly masticate and swallow the food. Maybe takeout only. The in-restaurant dining experience felt more like a nascar rally
Trashy frequented place. If you have a reservation at 10.30, you won't be seated until 11.15. Food is average, portions are extremely small. Don't go there hungry you need about $600/head to feed yourself. Lots of better options in Miami!

We had a 930 reservation for 2. We did not sit till 10:20. Extremely unorganized check in and it seems from taking to others it was an issue everyone experienced. What is the point of a reservation if you don't accommodate it? There are many other options in Brickell that give better service and actually respect the guest.
This is probably our 20th visit at Komodo all I can say it is always consistently amazing the food the service the energy our server Douglas help make our evening special
I have dined at this restaurant many times and have always enjoyed it, which is why I chose it to celebrate my mother's 85th birthday with a group of eight. Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the experience was marked by unnecessary rudeness from both the maître d' and our waiter. There was a clear lack of courtesy, engagement, and basic hospitality throughout the evening. Simple interactions felt dismissive, and at no point did we feel welcomed or valued as guests—especially surprising given the significance of the occasion. I rarely leave negative reviews, but the lack of professionalism and warmth during what should have been a memorable family celebration was truly unfortunate. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as this level of service does not reflect the experiences I've had here in the past.
This was our first time at Komodo. The food was decent but the service was very slow. For the price I would have expected there to be larger portions on some of the dishes. It took at least an hour to get the main dishes to the table and the server didn't check on us very much throughout the meal. The ambience was nice.
I had so much fun on my birthday on Friday thank went back on Sunday. The food and drinks were so good.
