delicious food!
Great food
Excellent quality and wide variety of Dim Sum dishes.
Always excellent food 🩷
I have been frequenting this place for years now and decided to review, finally. It’s in a strip mall on 84th Ave on the corner with Bird Rd. The manager is always attentive and by now knows even where I like to sit. I go for the dim sum and occasionally one of the several soups on the menu. While going with friends, one boasts of the kungpao chicken dish, while others have enjoyed the sautéed shrimp. For me the expansive dim sum menu delivers every time. It’s a quick service generally, and the ambiance is simple. I go for the great food.
The fish didn't taste good, and the portions were particularly large. Everything else was pretty good.

Service is HORRIBLE. If you call to place an order they have an attitude if you question anything they’ve said (they have a heavy accent so I was trying to confirm I understood them correctly), they got mad bc I asked - then proceeded to say if I was going to be that way to go somewhere else and hung up.. 😳

The food was great, even if there was a wait to be seated. Beautiful dumplings and I loved the atmosphere of a real Chinese restaurant. I only take off a star since their was a tip automatically included at 18%

This was our first time dining in the restaurant. We ordered a while ago, but had no bad memories. I had the scallops in a black bean sauce and eggplant in a garlic sauce. They were both good. My husband had a combination meal and I was not impressed. He liked the wonton soup and the ribs, although the ones in the meals are different than the individual orders. The individual orders of ribs are much better. The space is basic and the service is Good. It was very busy when we were there.
One more thing . . . I think the quality of the white rice is pretty Good. Some times when you eat out, the rice is just a starchy mess, but theirs was grainy and nice.

Food itself was not bad but the service didn't deserve to be 18% automatically added in our bill and we were not a big party.
We have eaten here many times over the years. The calendar is marked every year for a Christmas day visit. This year was no disappointment. The dim sum was freshly made and delicious.
We come here actually for the dim sum, which I think is the best in town. All of them are good. I always get the duck noodle soup, which has more duck and noodles than soup. The do not hesitate to bring more broth once we've finished the first serving!
Kon Chau is always great in terms of food, service, atmosphere. It's a trek from Miami Beach, but worth it every time.

Authentic dim sum in a no nonsense setting.Service is efficient and practical and I love the GM - she is bold and proud of her place and run it with great efficiency along with mostly equally efficient serving staff. It is now our go to for Dim
