We visited KYU Miami on a Sunday afternoon for brunch with the family and had an excellent experience from start to finish. We arrived around 3 PM and were seated immediately — a huge plus, especially in a busy area like Wynwood. The fact that they offer valet service right out front is incredibly convenient and appreciated, considering how hectic parking can be in the neighborhood.

Once inside, we were welcomed and seated at a comfortable table. Our server promptly presented both the brunch and lunch menus, giving us a variety of options. We ordered several brunch dishes, all of which were packed with flavor and beautifully presented. Every item exceeded our expectations.

We also went with the bottomless mimosas — and our server was kind enough to let us know they end at 4 PM, which we appreciated. She made sure we had as many refills as possible during our time, providing attentive and friendly service without rushing us.

The ambiance was relaxed yet vibrant, making it a great spot for families. Between the excellent service, flavorful food, and smooth logistics (especially valet), KYU delivered a standout experience. We’ll absolutely be back.

After tasting from this menu at another event, a friend suggested Kyu, and I’m so happy we went!

It was easy to make a reservation online for a Saturday night. Our server, Serena O, was delightful and made our night out even better. She was super kind and knowledgeable, as was all of the staff!

For dinner, I enjoyed Tuna Crispy Rice, Korean Fried Chicken, and Roshi’s Island. The fried chicken was my favorite part of the meal.

The dimly lit restaurant complements the restaurant well. Located in Wynwood, this I'd the perfect spot for this restaurant. I look forward to returning.

I have been to KYU before they closed about 2 years ago for remodeling and now after the reopening, and nothing has changed with them. Curated menu, on point quality and top notch service which is the perfect recipe for a good experience.

In this occasion, I started with their roasted cauliflower; the beef tartare, pork gyoza and a hamachi crudo. The cauliflower and the hamachi were my favorite out of the 4 starters.

The cauliflower was perfectly roasted and the goat cheese bed was the perfect pairing, I kept coming back for more. The hamachi was fresh as it could be, in a nice acidity sauce. This is the kind of dish you don’t feel guilty while eating in terms of calorie count, and want to eat as munch as you want or your wallet allows :)

The pork gyoza was delicious too, I loved the smoky flavors coming from the pork. Really well done.

The beef tartare was great, my only recommendation is to grind the meat a bit more, I think the pieces were on the thick side. Also, I would serve it with some sort of crispy bread on the side; that would make a 5 out 5 beef tartare.

For the entrée I had their short ribs with the sweet potatoes. The ribs are big enough for 2 people and I would say up to 3 if you are ordering other dishes as we did. It’s perfectly cooked with a nice charred coat. The sauces they serve it with, perfectly complement the meat, well done.

The sweet potatoes balance out the ribs. They were sweet and buttery. I would eat them by themselves at any time. So good!

Lastly, the dessert is the kind of dessert I like, where the levels of sugar are on the low side. The coconut flavors from the cake and the ice cream as well as the toasted coconut flakes, it was so yummy. Love it!

All in all, this was the perfect dinner. I can’t wait for my next time, I want to try their duck breast.

Wow—what an unforgettable meal! KYU Miami absolutely blew us away. From the very first bite to the last, every dish was a masterpiece of bold flavors and textures. We couldn't stop talking about the incredible cauliflower—perfectly roasted and bursting with flavor—and the crispy kale was addictive (we’re still dreaming about it). The bao was soft, pillowy perfection, and the steak? Next-level. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection.

Every dish somehow managed to top the one before it, which is saying something because each one started out amazing. The variety, the creativity, and the quality were off the charts. It was the kind of meal you don’t want to end—and we’re already planning our return. A must-visit for any food lover!

Hadn't been there since the reopen and I am very pleased to report that the food is still great. So many good choices on the menu with the Duck burnt ends being spectacular.

The short rib and brisket are amazing The service is great, our server was very helpful The only drawback is the price of the drinks. We each had two cocktails and the bill was 50% beverage and 50% food.

Overall, it's a great place to dine. I had a black garlic, angel's envy manhattan that was superb. The hamachi crudo definitely a palate opening dish. The crispy kale was over fried and was ash-like but, the sauce was delicious. The Korean chx bao buns and the brisket made our mouths water. The server was pleasant and sweet. My daughter and I definitely enjoyed our birthday dinner.
