Excellent food and service. The smoked meat dishes and rice dishes with the duck were memorable. The Crispy Pork Guy starter is also a must have!
We had a great time here for a chefs tasting menu. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was perfect.
Great Experience, beautiful location, appropriate portion sizes, and great service (Thank you Ann!)

KYU Miami absolutely blew us away. Every dish was vibrant, balanced, and incredibly fresh, the kind of flavors that make you stop in the middle of a conversation. The service was warm and efficient, and the vibe is energetic without feeling rushed. My only complaint? I wish they would open a location in Palm Beach so it is closer to home. Until then, KYU is well worth the drive. Do not miss out on this culinary experience. You will be talking about it long after the last bite.

They were very accommodating with changes to our reservation. We were a group of 6. It is an open kitchen, and the food comes out as it's ready so we got some sides at the end of our meal. The food was fantastic. The grilled octopus was my favorite dish, it was not fishy and consistency was soft. I would also recommend the smoked bone marrow and the filet mignon cooked to medium rare, it was 10/10. The drinks were a bit pricy but strong. It was quite noisy however we were a bigger group so we didn't mind. Overall we had a great time!

One of the absolute best dining experiences I’ve had in Miami. The service was impeccable. The steak tartare was out of this world, the table side fried rice and the brisket were INSANE. And the coconut cake might have been best of all, Everything we ate was better than the last.
Can’t wait to go back. 🙌

Always Amazing from start to finish at KYU Miami. What a great night and a great way to celebrate our friend’s birthday. I’ve also enjoyed the NYC location and I am looking forward to getting out to Las Vegas to dine at that location. Highly recommend!!!

Kyu is such a nice place to dine at especially late night the vibes are immaculate. Feels busy but cozy at the same time, music was great on top of that too. Favorite dish was the short rib! We tried tons of food. My boyfriend and I were taken great care of by Vic, super chill and nice guy! Highly recommend this place and having Vic as your server! <3

Today was the last day of Miami Spice, and since we eat out a lot, we decided to try KYU. We usually do Miami Spice at least twice a week at different restaurants, and I’ve never left one feeling so disappointed and hungry as I did today.
I ordered the Tuna Tataki, which came as just three tiny pieces, followed by the fish entrée that was also extremely small, plus dessert. That was it. My boyfriend got the beef tartare and fried chicken, slightly bigger portions, but still very small. We both left feeling very unsatisfied.
At other restaurants, either you get a full-size dishes or smaller portions of a couple of dishes. Here, it felt like they simply cut the regular size in half and turned it into a tasting menu. That’s not what Miami Spice is supposed to be about. The whole point is to attract new customers who leave happy and want to return.
While the food itself wasn’t bad, the portions made us feel scammed. I honestly thought about ordering something else afterward, but instead I just wanted to leave.
Unfortunately, this experience left us with no desire to come back.

After walking around Midtown with my mom, my godmother, and a friend, visiting a few galleries, we decided to have lunch at Kyu… and what a fantastic choice!
From the very beginning, everything was perfect: the host was incredibly kind and welcomed us with a big smile. Then we were served by Eddie, who treated us like queens—attentive, patient, and spot-on with all his recommendations for each of us.
The food was absolutely outstanding. I went for the Smoked Brisket, recommended by Eddie, and it was delicious—smoky, tender, and melt-in-your-mouth good.
I 100% recommend Kyu, the service, the food quality, and the ambiance make the whole experience unforgettable. I’ll definitely be back!
