Outstanding on all fronts....fantastic and great experience. We ate there our first and last night...just delicious and service outstanding !
Been to a couple of their other locations and the food here was nearly as good so there’s that. Seated at the counter next to a couple who must have been the 2 snobbiest individuals I’ve ever met. They complained about EVERYTHING.
Alone and on a business trip so I figured let’s L’atelier. No reservation needed? Hmmm. But it’s 2 Michelin stars so let’s risk it. Ordered the Evolution (degustation) menu with the Japanese A5 add-on. Overall experience was great, food excellent and attentive service.
So, is it justified? For “one and done”, yes. Repeat? No
PS. Forgot to comment about the stairs: weird. Just weird (you’ll have to see and you’d understand)
This has been the most underwhelming Michelin dinner we've ever had, and honestly, I feel robbed for the money and the time spent.
We are food enthusiasts, and I've been looking forward to trying Joel Robuchon's cuisine for a while.
I believe visiting a Michelin restaurant is unlike going to a regular restaurant: it's never just to eat but it is to experience and to admire the art of a chef, his careful choice of ingredients and techniques, the impeccable service.
We've been to several 1-3* Michelin restaurants around the world, including the US, and never ever has our service been so poor and negligent.
The guide recommended bar seating. Our waiter seemed absolutely disinterested in what he was doing. I had to ask 3-4 times to explain to us what was on the plate. Not a word on how it was cooked.
He said they ran out of 3-4 things at lunch. Like why wouldn't you print out a new menu for dinner? It was so confusing. We came for the full set and ended up ordering a la carte because of how things were presented to us.
Our table was never cleaned - bread crumbles all over our table. Silverware and plates were changed from over the counter with him trying to reach over the bar - almost felt like he was throwing it at us.
Him and other servers would stand behind the bar and talk about their business with us sitting right there. It felt very disruptive.
One time our waiter tried to clean our placemats reaching from over the bar and then shaking the rest of the food on the floor. I mean, it was so bad I couldn't sleep that night.
We had a special guest who just came from Paris, and I'm honestly ashamed by our choice of place.
The food? I feel bad for the chef's team because it's hard to appreciate food when you are being served like in a mediocre bar in America. I understand gratuity is already included hence doesn't need to be earned (maybe that's the problem) but working for such a place and leaving your guests wondering why they came must be something the management of a 2* Michelin restaurant should know.
We spent $700 on this dinner without wine pairing (which we asked for and were told we couldn't have because we ordered a la carte). I never feel sorry for spending that kind of money for a Michelin place although it is a lot of money because again I know I'm paying for the experience but in this case I was looking forward for our dinner to be over so I could just stop feeling ashamed.
Wonderful food with great service in a small and intimate setting. Sommelier Uros was especially excellent to work with and really made the meal for us.
Our first waiter was distracted (preoccupied) and we were assigned another waitress who was excellent. Food was great. Dessert was good. Not a fan of the high chair seating.
Truly Michelin star service and decadent food! Giancarlo our server made us feel welcome to relax and savor each course. The Sommelier recommended some lovely wines that paired well with the course at hand. We did the Evolution menu and would happily go back to do it again!
Amazing. Christian, Giancarlo and the entire the team delivered an amazing experience. Highly recommend.
Great Experience! Be back for sure! The filet with mashed potatoes in one of the courses is beyond compare!
First of all we were extremely disappointed that no one bothered to Inform us that the air conditioning was not working. This made for a very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. Had we known, we definitely would not have stayed. It was unnoticeable upon walking in as it was quite warm outside. It wasn't until we were into our meal that we asked why it was so hot. Too late and unapologetic. Upset we paid what we paid to endure this. The overall experience was not Michelin star worthy and certainly not two.
La temperatura del lugar estaba alta (hacía un poco de calor). Creí que era más elegante, pero asumo la culpa por no revisar. La comida sabrosa pero sin 300$/persona.

An unforgettable dining experience at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Miami. We did the Evolution menu and were blown away by the creativity, flavor, and precision in every course. The food was both exquisite and unique—each dish a true work of art.
We enjoyed a few cocktails, including a perfectly crafted old fashion, and every drink matched the elegance of the meal.
The service is truly unmatched. The staff knew every ingredient and every step of the preparation process, and their attention to detail elevated the entire experience. The atmosphere is polished, refined, and ideal for a special night out.
The two Michelin stars are absolutely well deserved. Highly recommend for a date night or any occasion where you want to be wowed from start to finish.
We both did the tasting menu and it was absolutely fantastic. They handled substitutions effortlessly and still made wonderful culinary creations. Overall experience was incredible. Wine pairing gave a significant amount of delicious wines. Our server and the sommelier were wonderful. The German Riesling and Kaluga caviar were very proper. Wonderful occasion restaurant highly recommend.
Truly amazing experience. Had a great time and left the restaurant with big smiles. I can recommend the evolution menu, as everything was exceptionally good.
The food as expected was plated and cooked to perfection. The service was some of the best we have ever experienced. While the experience was pricey, it fit with the experience. This is a fabulous place to celebrate any special occasion. We sat at the Chefs counter and were able to view the structured staff execute to perfection. All we can say is what an experience! Looking forward to spending some of our future special occasions here. The staff all made us feel like we were the center of their attention. Bravo!
We live in Delray Beach, an hour away by train. We dined here 2 weeks ago and enjoyed it so much that we had to come back to see if the first impression would hold up. When we arrived at the hostess station, the waiter that took care of us the last visit, came from behind the counter to greet us and welcome us back. He recalled every single item we had during our visit. He helped our current server with us despite our not being his customer tonight. The sommelier came by and recalled our wine selection and asked if we wanted it again. The aforementioned is to demonstrate the care that the Atelier staff brings to your dining experience. The food is spectacular! We have now had, over the course of two visits, Foie Gras Amuse Bouche, sea urchins, wagyu tartar, sweetbread, asparagus, bison, boar, Le burgers, Dover Sole, wagyu ribeye and the chocolate sensation for desert. Presentation of all items were works of art, flavors were exquisite and service was exactly as expected at a two star Michelin rated restaurant, beyond attentive but not intrusive. We have dined at a number of Michelin rated restaurants and this one deserves the accolades!
