The service and presentation were incredible, the rest of the experience was just okay. First, this restaurant is on a second floor of an outdoor mall, which was a bit unexpected. Then they have really strange seating arrangement, you can only sit at the bar, or on high table and bar stools if you want to sit inside. If you want to sit at a regular table, the only option is to sit outside. We ordered the degustation menu, all portions were extremely small, which was not a problem in itself, except that the food was just okay, it did not meet my expectations for what this place is posing itself to be. I enjoyed the foie gras and the bread. The chocolate souffle was good, but it was an add on, it did not come with the tasting menu.

How can I describe this once in a lifetime experience that I had atL’Atelier de Joël Robuchon; Intoxicating and in the best way possible. The service from the front/host staff to the manager of this fine establishment was on point all the way to the waiter who attended us (unfortunately I did not catch names). I was greeted with a smile and they even took my purse and stored it away while we dined. The food was just incredibly delicious and we were given free pallet cleansers and take home cake compliments of the chef. I could tell the food was fresh and perfectly thought out by the chef. I can see why he is 2 star Michelin rated chef and this restaurant is crafted exquisitely for date nights. I was taking photos of the entire journey as I enjoy capturing every moment. I have included some of my favorites. Chef Robuchon I will be coming back and thank you for the wonderful experience (one in which I will never forget). :)

Yesterday I went to dinner, the food was very good, the service was good and the atmosphere was not at the level of 2 Michelin stars. The tables are made of plastic melanin, the tablecloths are synthetic like those on the grills, the glass glasses, a plastic spoon for ice and for dessert, being the only cutlery for dessert, so not having a fork to help place the dessert on the spoon, you have to run the dessert all over the plate. We left at 10:45 p.m. They had already closed the main door and the staircase, so we HAD TO LEAVE THROUGH THE SERVICE. No comment.

Had an anniversary date and a really nice time here. Definitely worth a one time experience...BUT...in comparison to the many 1 star restaurants we have visited, I have mixed feelings about 2 Michelin Stars vs the overall experience vs the pricing. Here's why....Our server Hasna was a sweetheart. The hosts at entry were pleasant, and the general manager was extremely attentive and he made his rounds several times to ensure all was smooth. In general...all was smooth. However, it's all in the details.... my first impression was the bathroom I visited before being seated. How is there no toilet paper in a 2 star restaurant that is not full on a Thursday night? It was strange to me...but I moved on. I mentioned that our server Hasna was lovely. We had the Evolution (8 courses plus dessert)...and with every course, several servers would assist in serving and someone would stay behind to explain the course. Some of the servers seemed robotic and unenthusiastic....we could barely hear what was being said. Some servers were better than others in descriptions....it was very inconsistent. My husband accidentally dropped a steak knife at some point. It clanked and clattered all the way down...and no one noticed. Though this may be a function of there not being many servers on the floor since the majority of the seating is bar counter seating. We had to pick it up at the end of the night...I didnt want anyone getting hurt.I did love that they had substitutions for certain things. For example, I am not crazy about foie gras...so they offered a substitute for mine. I did try my husband's and it was quite different and very good in comparison to others, but my spinach tart was even better. The bread was AMAZING...but we joked about it being a filler for the tiny dishes we were expecting and that's exactly what it was. The bison was spectacular...and the truffle ravioli was divine (I wish they had put 2 pieces instead of 1...I was saddened it was only one). The dessert was spectacular....and they gave us an anniversary dessert as a plus which was a nice touch. The cocktails were nice, but kind of mediocre in presentation and there was not much to choose from. The wine selection seemed extensive.Side note....I did have an off putting moment but it was no fault of the restaurant staff...and I am not sure how they could have handled it better. One of the patrons near us a few empty seats away was putting makeup on throughout her ENTIRE meal. Like she literally had makeup bags sprawled out spilling into the seat next to her. At first i thought it was a momentary thing...but it just went on. The makeup bags all over the counter where people eat is what was off putting. I started wondering if the area where she placed all of her cosmetics bags would be cleaned properly for the next patron. I did hear the general manager make a suggestion to use the "very spacious bathroom with a large mirror." She wasn't budging. In the end, it was entertaining....and it didn't affect us....but there was something about eating nearby someone giving herself a makeover with full on makeup brushes and powder makeup. One major thing I did enjoy during this visit (besides the croissants and the dessert I can't stop thinking about) is the fact that Hasna saw how much I enjoyed the croissants and packed me some to go, along with an extra bread we had not tried. We also requested a menu at the end of the meal to take a picture of for our collection of memories, and she took the extra step to give us a paper menu to take home with a note from her and the chef.We highly enjoyed the night and we were satisfied with the visit overall, but we came to the conclusion that there was nothing that set aside this restaurant as a 2 star experience. We have had similar experiences at 1 star restaurants without the extra price tag. Maybe having a couple of drinks and a dish or two a la carte would ne more worth it. I do recommend visiting amd having the tasting menu at least once. It was a fun

We had the 6 plate taster option, slightly over $300/ person. It was fun to see how a restaurant can work without slamming a single plate over the course of 2 hours. I could have been in my living room, lol.We sat upstairs, looking into the kitchen at the *chefs bench" (it's a bar essentially). The couple next to us had burgers...looked wicked good, going back for that! The only thing I didn't like was the smoket Cod, way to fishy for me, but just my preference. The switch that out immediately for something super yummy.Service was beyond excellent. I say that as a former multi unit, restaurant GM and owner, for years, in my past.

Honestly I am a little disappointed with this place because I was expecting way more for a 2 michelin restaurant. The service was good but it was not exceptional, the table they sat us was like a bar table which I did not love, and then the food was good but nothing i would love to repeat or that actually blew my mind. It was crazily expensive for what we had!

Tucked away in Miami’s design district, this experience was thrilling from start to finish. For starters, you can either park in a parking garage or use valet. The cost to park was not expensive. Nothing I dislike more than a fancy place charging an arm and a leg before you can even get inside. We were guided up a spiral staircase and seated in the chef window per request. The restaurant was fairly empty as it was quite early for Miami. We arrived at 6:15 sharp to a nearly empty restaurant. I did like the intimate atmosphere of less people, but I know the kitchen Brie would be much more entertaining during prime hours, so keep that in mind. Service was attentive. I would have preferred more of an explanation to the food however many people don’t like this so I can see why they don’t. I highly recommend the season tasting menu as we ordered a la carte when the food was truly worth the price. The plating was exceptional and I highly recommend the duck. Gifts from the chef, we received three total, were finishing touches to a delightful meal.

The most phenomenal meal we've had in a very long time!!! Wowwww! From the service, to each dish, impeccable. We are highly recommending to all of our friends and family. We'll be back!

Everything to be expected from Joel Robuchon. Very excellently sized portions, was not over full after finishing the tasting menu, beautifully presented. I was under the impression the Chef's Counter was more of an open kitchen experience however it was more like awkward formal French service over an old sushi bar cooler. Mashed potatoes fell short and were on the verge of gummy. Service was excellent!

Perfect decor( modern but cozy), Perfect service (pleasant, caring, and knowledgeable staff), Perfect food( you realize the chef is having a ball experiencing different things and it works!)We kept a stupid smile of satisfaction the whole time. We experienced Le Bernardin and le Pavillon in NYC, this was up there if not higher! Memorable.Pricy? Sure ! But that’s the price you pay for perfection!
