As soon as I walked in this restaurant gives me the feeling of being at home having dinner with my family At the dinner table A feeling of warmth surrounded by love. The staff is always polite and loving. The food is absolutely amazing and delicious my favorite is the curry goat Roti as well as the doubles I could eat these dishes everyday from here. So if you love Trini food with excellent flavor And Quality L.C. Roti Shop is definitely place for you.

I was disappointed after driving from Miami hoping to have some flavorful food… the duck curry and goat curry was just some broken bones and shredded meat with no flavor, to me everything was pressure cooked and I was served the bottom leftover, my mistake I should have open and checked the order, the dal pure was cooked in front of me when I opened it up later at the hotel it didn’t smell right probably old oil disgusting… I am shocked people are writing good reviews, just can’t explain what happened to me… never again

I had a chicken and a shrimp paratha roti, doubles, and polourie. The doubles and polourie were good. The roti, not so much. The curry was not very flavorful at all. Some seasonings were definitely missing. I had to add my own like Grace chicken seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder and black pepper. The Paratha was too dense and tough. It wasn’t as soft and buttery as it should be. I would try the doubles and polourie again but it’s a hard no on the roti.

I went there to purchase food and they over charged me. LC told me a price which matched my rough calculation then the other lady in the back to her to charge an extra 10 bucks, Then had the nerve to ask for tips on take out food. The other lady is always rude I believe she is racist. Will never purchase there again!

I have been taking my daughter to Elsie throat shop for many years and they never disappoint. The food is always fresh and hot and delicious and authentic LC and her staff are kind. They have manners and it’s a pleasure to go there some days they have lovely music playing and it’s nice to just go in there and have a Guinness. It feels like you’re back in the islands

The food was super delicious, I felt like I was in Trinidad and Tobago with the Caribbean flavor. And I loved the music, this place is highly recommended.
