The empanadas here are amazing. The sandwich Cubano is as well. Other things like the sandwich de pollo were dry and flavorless. Overall not a bad experience. I did however feel I got significantly over charged as a tourist. 2 empanadas were almost $12 bit then you see older Hispanic people coming by and it seems they aren't paying the same price. I went here many times and since the prices are not posted I was a bit confused with them constantly changing.

The Cuban was great though. My coworker and I both agreed that the media Noche was the winner. The Gothic won't let you was satisfying and the service was excellent.
A latino gem at the Little Havana in Miami. In the store, there is a little place to eat (onsite, or to go) My husband, son and I were visiting from Montreal and I wanted to have something very latino in Miami, not too expensive and as close as possible as to the feelings of being in a latino country, and we found it. They serve sandwiches, empanadas, and for warm dishes, they have a different one every day. We came on a tuesday and had a delicious Fricasé de pollo with rice, beans and plantain.

Authentic Cuban cuisine but overpriced and service needs improvement
La Esquina Tropical offers authentic Cuban cuisine appreciated by locals.
Unfortunately the service was inattentive, possibly because they recognized that we were tourists.
Cleanliness left something to be desired and prices ($4 for an enchilada) were inflated.

There is everything and affordable prices. They also have food and coffee. Neighborhood supermarket, for humble people.

Look. I’m from out of town. But I know a good bacon, egg, and cheese. What I was given in an unassuming paper bag was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The cortadito is equally delicious punching well above its weight in a town with an abundance of coffee.
