La Latina is one of Miami’s true gems — a place where both Venezuelans and locals come together over amazing food and genuine hospitality. The flavors are authentic, the quality is always consistent, and every visit feels like coming home.
The menu has all the classics — from crispy tequeños and perfectly filled arepas, to seasonal favorites like hallacas and pan de jamón during the holidays. But one thing that truly stands out are their empanadas de cazón — they’re not only hard to find outside Venezuela, but easily some of the best you’ll ever taste.
The service is exceptional every time. Gustavo is always attentive and friendly, and one of the owners, Alberto, makes it a point to personally greet guests and ensure everyone leaves happy.
If you’re craving authentic Venezuelan comfort food served with heart, La Latina is the spot.
