CLOSED!!!! Still on OpenTable, and will accept the reservation with the usual confirmations and notification reminders of the reservation, but this restaurant is closed! Which I now understand it has been for over 4 months. Please take it off OpenTable so others do not go to a closed venue.

After confirming via sent text by restaurant the day of the reservation we showed up for a business lunch right on time just to find the restaurant closed and no sign of anyone. It was an embarrassment and created an awkward situation — this is absolutely lack of hospitality and service, especially after asking us to confirm attendance and them clearly advertising and using this platform to promote they are open.

The class was amazing, $35 for an authentic Neapolitan class with take-home pizza AND pizza dough? Sign me up again. It had a 6-people limit so everyone got attention, it was very interactive and fun. I remember nothing though, was just there for the vibes.

Porciones pequeñas, cierran muy temprano un sábado a la noche 22.30 hs, te traen la cuenta cuando no la pediste, esta vez no me gustó

This was an excellent experience. Stylish atmosphere. Super nice service. The food was really delicious. Give the pizza a try, they are outstanding. We'll be back for sure.😋

We come back to La Martola because of the food and the service and the beautiful room. Last night, however , we noticed something even more unusual in Miami. We could hear our dinner companions! Wish other restaurants would offer that!

We come here for the freshest ingredients and absolutely highest quality. It's a perfect menu. Leave room for the gelato make your own sundae and the flourless chocolate cake!!!

Valentine's was a terrible experience. My partner and I had to wait 1hr+ for the valet and once inside food came short. Selection in the menu felt like only the expensive dishes were available and again, not even flavourful. I'll probably give La Martola a second chance as the vibe was great but definitively didn't meet expectations and felt ripped off for the overall experience.

Beautiful restaurant, but the food was so disappointing, everything lacked salt or flavor. Apart from that some dishes also came out cold. Even thought they tried to make it right by us, the damage was done. Only great thing was the wine and the limone pasta.

Service at time became a drag and our waiter disappeared a few times for long periods of time. While they were around it was great.

After reading glowing online reviews and hearing a foodie friend's positive comments, I decided to give it a try with my wife and a visiting friend. First, I was disappointed to learn upon arrival that there is only valet parking taken to a remote site at a cost of $20. Upon entering the restaurant, I was pleased to see the attractive interior. The chair in which I had to sit had a hard, wooden bottom and was unusually low. Hence, my sitting experience wasn't good. Our waiter had such a strong Italian accent that he was hard to understand and he was overly familiar for my old-fashioned taste. The printed menu wasn't well designed and the print was so small that it was hard to read. The menu items were so unusual that I had trouble deciding what to order. The prices were quite high even by Miami standards. For example, the 3 appetizers averaged $29, a bottle of white Pierre Labet Beaune was $143, our 3 entrees averaged $41 and our espressos were $8. All in with tax & tip, we spent $156.50 per person. As a comparison, we paid an average of $70.50/pp the last two times that we dined at a restaurant which, in our opinion, is the best Italian restaurant in S. Fla.

La Martola is a beautiful new Italian restaurant in the ever growing area of Buena Vista. It's a large restaurant with lots of inside and outdoor dining. The food is great - lots of options for appetizers and main courses and a long list of pizzas. We had the burrata salad with soft creamy cheese sprinkled with pistachios, the tagliolini with lemon and the Classico (or margherita) pizza which was very tasty and delicious. There is a nice wine list with lots of wines by the glass. A great experience. We sat outside and the live music was a little loud - perhaps acoustic, rather than electronic music would be better in the space. But a delightful delicious meal that warrants a return visit.

I had the pleasure of dining at La Martola last Thursday, and it was an unforgettable experience. The evening was made even more special by the addition of live music, which created a lively yet relaxing atmosphere that perfectly complemented the meal.

The highlight of my visit was their Portonovo Pizza. It was absolutely divine—perfectly cooked with a crispy crust, fresh and flavorful toppings, and a delightful balance of textures and flavors. It’s easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had.

The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. The service was prompt and professional, and the restaurant maintained a clean and inviting environment.

The live music added a wonderful touch, making the evening feel both celebratory and relaxing without being overwhelming. The combination of excellent food, welcoming ambiance, and entertainment made for a truly memorable night.

I highly recommend La Martola, whether you’re looking for a casual dinner or a special night out. I’ll definitely be returning—especially for another Portonovo Pizza!
